Soviel zur Abschaffung des langsamen Bargeldes. War jahrelang jeden Tag mein Frühstück bei Honeder kaufen, aber dies wird ab heute wohl beim Konkurrenten stattfinden. Schade drum.. Unfortunately, it is extremely disappointing that cash payments are no longer accepted here (except in some roundabout way, alias Honedercard). So much for the abolition of slow cash. For years I had to buy my breakfast every day at Honeder, but from today this will probably take place at the competitor. Too bad..

Eine Bankomatkarte hat man im Gegensatz zu Bargeld ohnehin immer im Portmonee, außerdem finde ich es deutlich hygienischer, wenn die Verkäuferin nicht gleichzeitig mit Bargeld und den Backwaren in Kontakt kommt. Aufregen sollte man sich eher über Läden, in denen man auch im Jahr 2021 ausschließlich bar zahlen kann. Und an der Qualität gibt es hier selbstverständlich auch nichts auszusetzen. To be honest, I don't understand the sometimes negative reviews. Unlike cash, you always have an ATM card in your wallet anyway, and I also find it much more hygienic if the saleswoman doesn't come into contact with cash and the baked goods at the same time. One should rather get excited about shops in which you can only pay in cash in 2021. And of course there is nothing wrong with the quality.

Die Verkäuferin entgegnete mir, dass man hier nur mehr mit Karten bezahlen könne. Sehr geehrtes Honeder-Team! Ihnen ist hoffentlich bewusst dass EURO Münzen und Scheine in Österreich immer noch als offizielles Zahlungsmittel gelten. Auch wenn Ihre Kunden tendeziell lieber mit Karten bezahlen, haben Sie als öffentlich zugängliches Unternehmen Bargeld sehr wohl noch zu akzeptieren. Können letztlich Kunden ohne Bankomatkarte bei Ihnen gar nicht mehr einkaufen? Diese "Pilotprojekt" ist aus meiner persönlichen Sicht (über die rechtliche Lage bin ich derzeit NOCH nicht informiert) eine absolute Frechheit! Mich werden Sie jedenfalls zukünftig in KEINER Ihrer Filialen mehr sehen, selbst wenn dieses "Projekt" eingestellt wird. I was amazed when I ordered an extended stay in this branch this morning before an appointment at the Kepler University Clinic and wanted to pay with a 5 euro note. The saleswoman replied that you could only pay with cards here. Dear Honeder team! Hopefully you are aware that EURO coins and notes are still an official means of payment in Austria. Even if your customers tend to prefer to pay by card, as a publicly accessible company you still have to accept cash. Ultimately, can customers no longer shop with you without an ATM card? This "pilot project" is from my personal point of view (I am not yet informed about the legal situation) an absolute cheek! In any case, you will not see me in any of your branches in the future, even if this "project" is discontinued.
j	josef schmid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schön eingerichtet, Produkte wie gewohnt gut, aber Kaffee ohne Tassen und Strudel ohne Teller (obwohl sogar Sessel zum draußen sitzen gestellt sind) passt nicht. Dass dann auch kein Wasser zum Kaffee angeboten werden kann ist auch schade. 3G-Kontrolle entfällt vermutlich, weil eh niemand bleiben soll. Platz hätte mehr Potential. Nicely furnished, products are good as usual, but coffee without cups and strudel without plates (although there are even armchairs for sitting outside) don't fit. It is also a shame that no water can be offered with the coffee. 3G control is probably omitted because nobody should stay anyway. Space would have more potential.
