USB plugs, comfortable beds, strong shower pressure, quiet & airconditioned rooms (windows are there too) and the ability to stream to TVs. Perfectly located for onward travelers, Bregenz Festspiele visitors or business people visiting the neighboring Expo/Business park. No frills breakfast included with a yummy choice of food and a McDonalds next door for those with late night cravings. Staff are very friendly even as the hotel continues to find itself (teething issues in terms of overbookings, overfilled carpark and breakfast areas).

Though the receptionist made us super unwelcome and uncomfortable. I booked via Snaptravel a couple of hours before arrival. I paid by card in advance. When I told her my name, she found my reservation, but still asked so many questions, like where I made the reservation, she never heard of Snaptravel, if I really paid in advance, if I can tell her the price I paid. She repeated these questions 3-4 times. I showed her the confirmation email and finally my netbank that it's indeed paid for. Even though I love Holiday Inns, have already stayed in more cities, I would have left in an instant had I any other options at 20.30, after such an accusatory attitude from the receptionist. Like I was a thief..
