A	Andreas Bacher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guter Flugplatz! Piste kurz und wellig, aber man kann mehrere Tage parken, was woanders heutzutage oft kaum mehr möglich ist. AVGAS ist verfügbar (leider heutztage auch eine Seltenheit und daher als positiv erwähnenswert). Sehr freundliche Betriebsleiter. Sehr nachteilig ist die Regelung mit einer Mittagspause und offenbar ein paar Anrainer, die zum Flugplatz ziehen und sich danach über Flugzeuge beschweren. Good airport! The slope is short and wavy, but you can park for several days, which is often hardly possible anywhere else these days. AVGAS is available (unfortunately also rare these days and therefore worth mentioning as positive). Very friendly manager. The regulation with a lunch break and a couple of residents who move to the airfield and then complain about airplanes is very disadvantageous.

Die "Betriebspause" So 12:30 - 16:00 sollte man kennen, aber alle Infos, auch hinsichtlich An-/Abflug, sind sehr gut und anschaulich auf der Website beschrieben. Schade ein bisschen die fehlende Anbindung - ohne Taxi geht da nix. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder! Really very recommendable airfield in the country! Friendliness and helpfulness of the operations manager for me so far unsurpassed. You should be familiar with the "break in operation" Sun 12:30 - 16:00, but all information, also with regard to arrival and departure, is described very well and clearly on the website. It's a shame the lack of connections - nothing works without a taxi. We'll be back anyway!

We were immediately greeted by very friendly people who helped us push the glider into its parking position and even supplied us with beer and snacks. Came as strangers and left as friends. Thanks and welcome in Schaenis anytime!
