★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look. It’s a smallish stadium with one (comparatively large) stand featuring a team from the Austrian 5th Division. But - First Vienna 1894 are the oldest club in Austria, play some attractive football and are beating almost everyone at this level (9-0 when I went last Friday). Tickets are cheap, käsekrainer is sold (if you don’t know what it is, just order it - unless you are a vegetarian!) and the beer while watching the game is great. You can just turn up on a match night. The fans chant in English, and there is a welcoming social club afterwards (or before) even if you’re not a regular (or speak German).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normal stadium, nothing unusual. Facilities should be renovated. Impolite and aggressive parking staff - th y seem to be a here to keep the customers away. Also tons of garbage after every match - the stadium personnel does not care. Not to mention the dubious cars with h Czech plate numbers or without plates, parked there all the time under the excuse of private property - of course they are avoiding the normal car taxes they should pay as any normal citizen. But hey, this is a local stadium and we should be proud of it, right?
