Si tratta di una costruzione in pietra con una sovrastruttura in travi di legno, ricoperto da una tettoia di legno, con un accesso monumentale, che ricorda una torre.
Venne ricostruito nel 1709 e riparato un centinaio di anni più tardi.
Grazie al ponte, che supera un baratro di 40 metri sul torrente Stallenbach, si può raggiungere agevolmente l'antico convento di Sankt Georgenberg, evitando di doversi arrampicare sulla roccia.
It is probably one of the oldest bridges in Tyrol.

It is a stone construction with a wooden beam superstructure, covered with a wooden canopy, with a monumental access, reminiscent of a tower.
It was rebuilt in 1709 and repaired a hundred years later.
Thanks to the bridge, which crosses a 40-meter chasm over the Stallenbach stream, you can easily reach the old convent of Sankt Georgenberg, avoiding having to climb the rock.
