1957 erwarb die Diözese das Gelände der ehemaligen Schreckmühle am sogenannten Mühlbach. 1959/1961 wurde nach den Plänen des Architekten Julius Eberhardt ein Bildungshaus gebaut. Die Initiative zum Bau entstand unter Bischof Michael Memelauer, welcher am Tag der Eröffnung und Weihe der Kapelle am 30. September 1961 verstarb.
The Bildungshaus St. Hippolyt is located in Eybnerstraße 5 in the state capital St. Pölten in Lower Austria. The education center named after the Holy Hippolytus of Rome is a Roman Catholic educational institution of the diocese of St. Pölten.
In 1957, the diocese acquired the grounds of the former Schreckmühle at the so-called Mühlbach. 1959/1961 was built according to the plans of the architect Julius Eberhardt an education center. The initiative for the construction came under Bishop Michael Memelauer, who died on the day of the opening and consecration of the chapel on 30 September 1961.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really professionally run place. There were drinking fountains with fresh glasses at several places in the building. It's incredible to see how much people drink when there is such a nice opportunity.
We rehearsed Verdi Requiem there, approx. 120 people and the house had absolutely no trouble handling us, and also in a super friendly way.
Also, there is table tennis available during breaks :D
