B	Bill Carpenter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As nice as its physical surroundings and amenities, what is really special about the Himmlhof is the sensational hospitality provided by its staff. They were always eager to help answer questions, serve wonderful food and drink, and share what they know about St. Anton. I felt like family the during my stay. I usually think that life is too short to return to someplace you have been. My stay at Himmlhof changes that for me. I want to return. I arrived in St. Anton by train from Zurich, and even with my gear, the Himmlhof was walkable from the station, and to the lifts each morning and evening.

The beautifully cosy interiors, fantastic breakfast spread (+ apres ski snacks!) and brilliant central location all make for an unforgettable experience but it was the warm and utterly charming hospitality from Chris, Julia and their family that made it a perfect stay. Would highly recommend.
F	Franco Cozzani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent choice for a stay in the Arlberg region. Super-welcoming owners and staff and beautifully appointed hotel and rooms (we had a junior suite). The breakfast buffet was excellent, inclusive of scrambled eggs with mushrooms collected by the owner the previous day. The very nice spa area complemented a short, very, very stay. We will definitely go back and there are, in addition, nice restaurants in the village nearby.

The entire family does a superior job making you feel welcome and at home. We echo the reviews regarding service, attention to detail, fabulous rooms all in a superior boutique hotel. 5 stars is not adequate as a raring of this Hotel, for the quality of the experience you will enjoy while staying at Himmlhof. It is all about the commitment to excellence that you rarely find in today's travels. Service is a differentiator and the Himmlhof is par excellance. Warmest wishes to anyone that has the oppertumity to stay at thus special Hotel.

The Penz family, who run it, make every possible effort to make you feel at home; they offer not only their tea, coffee, and cake, but, more importantly, their time and attention. The rooms have a traditional, wooden feel, whilst being stylish, modern, and beautifully maintained and clean as a whistle. And the common areas are perfectly suited to their purpose, comfortable, and a pleasure to use. Breakfast is generous and delicious, too. I can't think of any way to make the Himmlhof any better. Thank you!!! This was my second visit, and I can't wait for a third. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is a really fantastic hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly, kind, and genuine; and the rooms are both beautiful and functional. The wood design feels both traditional and modern, particularly in the large rooms and fantastic showers and bathrooms. The hotel breakfast is also surprisingly generous and tasty. I couldn't recommend it more! I will be very sad to say goodbye.

M	Meltem Kamber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I must say this is the definition of a small luxury boutique hotel with a bonus of wonderful family as owners. All family members Margherita, Sebastian, Christian and Julia made me feel at home, all of them very kind, friendly, caring, helpful arranging restaueant reservations or transportation… everything you can think of… hotel is located just 30 seconds walking distance to the town center but at a parallel road besides the main pedestrian district so it is very quite, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is superb at a picture perfect cosy dining room space. Everything in this hotel is very charming, just picture perfect, it is well understood that every detail is thought of very carefully.. around 4 pm once you come to the hotel delicious tea time bakes ( everyday different variety) is waiting for you… this place makes you feel very welcomed and happy! By the way it is less than 5 minutes walking distance to the ski slopes… the owners even arranged a ski depot place for you to leave your ski equipment or ski boots across from the lift… it is just simply perfect!
