Das Hefferthorn kann vom Unterberghorn erreicht werden. Abstieg ist Richtung Westen über die Lackalm in das Niederhausertal bei Kössen möglich. Nur für Geübte!
 The Hefferthorn is a side summit of the Unterberg massif and gives its name to the landscape protection area Hefferthorn, Fellhorn, Sonnenberg, which stretches across the Hagertal valley to the Chiemgau Alps. The Hefferthorn can be reached from the Unterberghorn. You can descend westwards via the Lackalm into the Niederhausertal near Kössen. For experienced only!
