Optimale Lage für Wanderungen ins Horlachtal und seine Seitentäler und Höhen: Narrenkogel, Poschachkogel, Gruesee und Gruejoch, Finstertaler Scharte, Brand und Mahdeben, Larstigtal, Grastal mit Grastalsee, Kreuzjöchle, Hochreichkopf, Hemerkogel mit einmaligem Blick ins Ötztal - alles vom Haus aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkehrmöglichkeiten bei Wanderungen in der Larstigalm, Horlachalm, Schweinfurter Hütte, Zwieselbachalm, Wiesle.
