★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little Bnb located in Pfandl, close to Bad Ischl. Ivan and Katrin were gracious hosts, inviting us warmly with a welcome drink and sharing restaurant recommendations in town.
The apartment is on the second floor of a two story home (Ivan and Katrin live on the first floor); very well equipped kitchen (pots, pans etc) with clean and comfortable rooms. There is a small balcony running along the length of the apartment where you can enjoy the view of the Katrin mountains.
Bad Ischl town is a short 5 minute drive away, while the apartments proximity to Hallstatt and Obertraun (25 minute drive) ensures you get to enjoy down time away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The surrounding view is breathtaking -- do take a walk around the neighbourhood if you can!
