Der Slogan Kärnten, willkommen bei Freunden, stimmt. We have been there many times, always great. Great beach with a view of the mountains. The apartments are large and very clean and comfortable. The slogan Carinthia, welcome to friends, is right.
C	Chris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicht optimal für Familien mit kleinen Kindern: ordentliche Ferienwohnung mit modernen, renovierten Schlafzimmern, aber leider keine Spielmöglichkeiten für kleinere Kinder. Außerdem direkt an der Hauptstraße, so dass wir unsere 3-Jährige auch nicht unbeaufsichtigt vor dem Haus spielen lassen wollten. Haus Garz hat einen Seezugang mit Ruderbooten (etwa 5-10 Min. zu Fuß, über die Hauptstraße rüber). Leider ist auch der "Strandbereich" nicht (Klein-) Kindertauglich, da es gleich steil in den See reingeht. Ansonsten ist am Strandbereich noch eine Schaukel und ein Volleyballfeld. Unsere Ferienwohnung war in Ordnung und die Schlafzimmer frisch renoviert. Leider war die Terrasse auf der Haus-Rückseite direkt neben dem Parkplatz, und nicht besonders gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind gut, insbesondere das Wohn- und Schlafzimmer war modern hergerichtet. Die Küche war mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet (mit Spülmaschine und Mikrowelle). Die Vermieterin brachte uns jeden Morgen frische Semmeln und Milch. Insgesamt ist die Ferienwohnung in Ordnung, aber mit unseren kleinen Kindern würden wir uns das nächste Mal etwas anderes suchen. Not ideal for families with small children: decent apartment with modern, renovated bedrooms, but unfortunately no play facilities for smaller children. Also right on the main road, so we did not want to let our 3-year-old play unattended in front of the house. Haus Garz has a lake access with rowing boats (about 5-10 minutes on foot, over the main road over). Unfortunately, the "beach area" is not (small) suitable for children, as it goes straight into the lake. Otherwise, the beach area is still a swing and a volleyball court. Our apartment was fine and the bedrooms were newly renovated. Unfortunately, the terrace on the back of the house was right next to the parking lot, and not particularly cozy. The rooms are good, especially the living room and bedroom was modern. The kitchen was equipped with the most necessary (with dishwasher and microwave). The landlady brought us every morning fresh rolls and milk. Overall, the apartment is fine, but with our small children we would look for something different next time.
M	Marianne Fritsche on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hatten das Appartement Wohntraum gebucht und es war wirklich neu, geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Genügend Platz für ein Pärchen mit zwei Kindern und alles sehr sauber. Wirklich schön war auch das Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse in der Morgensonne. Da stört niemand und man hat einen tollen Blick ins Grüne. Die zwei Strände sind gepflegt und mehr als großzügig. Auch die Strandpromenade direkt rund um den See hat uns überzeugt - super Laufstrecke!! Das Highlight für unsere Kinder waren aber die zwei Ruderboote. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaubsort zum Baden, direkt an den Wanderrouten und mit netten Vermietern. Klare Empfehlung! Had booked the apartment Wwohnraum and it was really new, spacious and nicely decorated. Enough space for a couple with two children and everything was very clean. Breakfast on your own terrace in the morning sun was also really nice. Nobody bothers and you have a great view of the countryside. The two beaches are well-kept and more than generous. The beach promenade right around the lake also convinced us - great running route! But the highlight for our children were the two row boats. All in all, a perfect vacation spot for swimming, right on the hiking routes and with nice landlords. Clear recommendation!

Außerdem ist die Lage richtig gut für Wanderungen und Mountainbiketouren. Der private Strand mit kostenloser Ruderbootbenutzung sind das i-Tüpfelchen. The apartment was super clean and newly renovated. It has everything you need. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The location is also really good for hiking and mountain bike tours. The private beach with free rowing boat use are the icing on the cake.
