The manager, David, provides an amazing personalized service, he always makes sure we are happy and make us feel so welcome! David creates a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere and this is really one of my favorite places in Vienna :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at the door is very arrogant and unfriendly. The staff in the bar area try hard, but it is not necessary to come by every 2 minutes and force something on you. The taste of the cocktails does not always match the high prices. The snacks on offer are not up to scratch in terms of quality. All in all, an overpriced mainstream bar with little ambience and charm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The very best bar-club in the city in which I spent 3 nights this week and stayed 7 (seven!) hours last night.
Why: amazing service; great music and so kind management and security.
Still, there are some negative comments, so here is my „manual“ for you guys:
-live your ego at home and put a smile- we will all (including you) have much better time;
-if you don’t wanna wait, come earlier, find a nice place and chill;
-if you wanna have a drink in 5 minutes, stay where you are and order with the waiter- they are really fast… but please don’t come to the bar to block everyone and wait for 20 minutes.
PS.: Dancing is also not forbidden, but desired!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Friday evening we had a reservation at Hannelore Bar. As we arrived at the frontdesk the ladies and gentlemen thought that they were something better and started talking down on us. I already went to Hannelore a few times but every single time I encounter the same behaviour. (so do the people I know).
The drinks are O.K. but you don't feel very welcome, as the personal systematically discriminates and treats everyone like their beneath them.
I come from Vienna and I know the Austrian culture of unfriendly and disrespectful waiters and waitresses too well.
There are bars and restaurants with staff that care about you as a customer and as a person. Don't run after this place and try to give them your money, it is not worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best bars in Vienna. The atmosphere and the design are first class. It is suited very well for 30+ customers, with seeing people there even in their sixties having great time. We tried multiple cocktails and all of them were good quality and well presented. The staff was genuinely kind and present. Music with a DJ, and we really liked it.
