★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique experience was the visit at the Salt Mine in Salzburg(Salzwelten Salzburg). We have to mention Ivana who was our kind, funny and well informed guide that took us beneath surface and explained everything about this important human accomplishment. We recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool experience where you can see the oldest tourist mine in the world. In this you will go deep into an old mine, slide down traditional miners slide, taste brine, and ride a boat on a body of water in the mine. It's cool and the tour guide does a very good job! The slide is very fun!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ more than 70€ for 1 hour tour of a 4 member family (2 adults + 2 kids).... That is stupidly expensive for 1 hour. The tour is interesting, no doubt about that, but not worth even half of that price.
On top of that you can buy photos from the tour at price 7,90€per photo. That is disgusting. 7,90 for a piece of printed paper that they are ready to throw away if you don't wanna buy it.
The ONLY plus point is the tour guide - very patient, entertaining and definitely captured our attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a wonderfull experience!
We were 6 adults and 6 kids and we had an amazing time. The tour starts with special clothes you put on top of your clothes. Then you go by a small train to the mine and then start walking. At some point you even cross to Germany!
There is also a fun slide inside and a boat with a lights and sounds show. It was so much fun and so well done, we all enjoyed it so much.
It costs 30 eur for adults, it is not included in the salzburgcard.
Don't miss it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour guide exceeded our expectations, we couldn't have asked for more! The experience gives a lot of informations regarding the Salt mines but also some funny moments, very nice ?
The staff guy in particular, Alex, was able to explain everything perfectly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time, was interesting, the guide, Niklas, did the whole tour in fluent German and English, was very knowledgeable, and engaged with the children on the tour as well and answered their questions patiently and with enthusiasm. Would highly recommend, and would encourage tipping the tour guides afterwards, as they are very well informed and make the tour worthwhile!
