We went to this place in our neighborhood with a big group of friends (about 20 people) to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant: The location is quite nice, chilled and comfortable. COVID measurements: Unfortunately the COVIC protocol was not followed by any of the staff (they didn’t ask any guests for the proof of vaccination or tests. Although it’s mandatory in Vienna at the moment). As for food and service: Almost all of us ordered the dinner menu they had. €23,90 that included vegetarian starter, vegetarian/vegan/meat main dish and a “surprise dessert”. The food was mediocre. Nothing significant in any way. During dinner, the staff would rarely come to us to check on the table and see if anything is missing. Since it was a birthday, we had already brought our own cake that we served after dinner. When asked for tea (around 10:30 pm), they said they’d already turned off the machine and it’s not possible! And that it’s already too late! Now this comes from a restaurant, which claims to partially be of the oriental culture! What’s oriental food without the tea in the end?! When asked for the above-mentioned “surprise dessert”, the waiter looked at us with such sense of entitlement saying “but you already had your cake, you still want the dessert?” When confronting him about the fact that the dessert needs to be deducted from the menu, if they don’t bring it, he started blabbering something, asking for a deposit for a To-Go option and then later on, wrapped the desserts in aluminum foil for us: a couple of pieces of dry white and chocolate cake. This was quite a disappointing experience for all of us, especially coming from a restaurant that claims “Gastfreundschaft/Hospitality” as one of their main pillars. We all left, feeling ripped off. Thank you, but no.

Unfortunately they sent us bread with mold on it. The food was well spiced, but the chicken was very dry. I emailed them regarding the mold but they didn't reply so I assume they don't particularly care about their customers.

Great concept and very nice staff! The food and wine are both really good. The environment is so warm and welcoming! The family menu is totally worth it. You can ask for more food--- although the portions are just right! My only complaint is the dessert--- very dry and hard baklava.

I enjoy going to habibi an hawara. No matter which place you go to they are always friendly and the food tastes so different to any other kitchen you can find in vienna. They also do it to support immigrants.

Came here at lunch time, so I took the lunch menu buffet! Atmosphere is perfect, very quite and pleasant to eat. Staff are extremely kind and helpful. Variaty slightly lacking on the warm food, but the cold food section is amazing! Left with a full belly and good taste. Price for lunch buffet is 15€, slightly too much with the not so much variation of warm food, but still on the okay range. Would recommend, oriental food, great location and lovely ambience.

Best oriental cuisine in Vienna! Their concept is amazing, the food just delicious, very friendly and welcoming staff… and on top, the best baklava! Thanks very much and keep up your great work!
