There s a 20 minutes walk from the parking but it's totally worth it. The trails may be a bit narrow by moments, better get good shoes and don't forget the camera. The place is quite and breath taking. I'd really suggest to anyone visiting Styria

A 4 € parking place /per day is available near the lake (~800m). The area is very clean and the lake is just amazing. Definitely worth visiting!

Such a wonderful place to go. There is a smaller lake (clearest water, you can see the fish) and there is a lager lake with impressive green-blueish color. I have been there several times and for me spring (April) is the best season since (due to melting of snow) the water is the highest so there are even benches covered by water. Nice walk around the lake with many extremely beautiful spots.

I would spend hours here. This is a hidden gem surrounded by amazing landscapes.

One of the most scenic places I have been to. On a bright sunny day the emerald green water of the lake surrounded by pine trees with the backdrop of Alps is something best experience only when you get there. A good 15-25 min walk around the lake will give you several different views of this crystal clear lake. Lost of walking trails around, which we couldn't explore but might be worth giving a try. A restaurant next to the lake is nice and serve cold beer and nice food.

One of the best experiences I have in Austria! This green lake is a gem and it’s so beautiful! We went in the mid of June and the hike was pleasant and the scenery is totally mind-blowing! Swimming are not allowed to protect this place. Definitely recommend it before they lake dries up!

We went there today. Unfortunately the lake doesn't have lots of water in right now. But it could be very beautiful with a lot of green and blue waters. Parking costs 6 Euro for 24 hours, only cash accepted, but you can change bills into coins. My recommendation is to have the exact amount of 6 Euro in coins.
