No police controle at all the cheating roads, and therefore sooo many took the emergency lane to overtake everyone who was waiting patiently to get to the border. What is taking such a long time (over 4hours and still not at the checkpoint ?). Is it to look for refugees?!!!! ? This is not ok!!!!! Where can we file a complaint for missing my flight and having to book another one?!!!!!!

They had 6 years to deal with this issue due to migration and covid, yet nothing happened, although they had plenty of time to plan and to put more resources into the border check, opening more checkpoints or so. If Austria would be a firm, nobody would buy its product or service ever.

Going back from Hungary to Austria on Sunday noon, Google Maps showed a 30-minute traffic congestion at this border crossing, but showed an alternative route passing the Hegyeshalom, Régi Határállomás / Old Border Station Hungary-Austria. We were the only car as we passed this alternative border crossing.
E	Eugen Cucu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This negative review is not as much oriented against the border officers, as much as against the organization of the waiting lines. On the way from Hungary to Austria we have waited 2 hours, at the end being asked only 1 question which took not more than 5 seconds. This means that the problem is not with border authorities, but with the chaotic organization of waiting lines… there are two lines for cars for entering Austria and another line for trucks or buses, which is actively used by “smartasses” to cut the lines and get in front of the car lines. The problem is that nobody controls the organization of these lines. The best solution would be to set physical barrier, so that nobody who entered the truck/bus line would be able to enter the car lanes, cutting the line in detriment of others, the only option for them being to return at the beginning of the existing line. As long as nobody cares about this discipline organization, the review cannot be better….
