★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mitte August sammeln sich viele verschiedene Greifvogelarten hier in Kärnten, um die besondere Thermik, die durch die steilen Wände des Dobratsch entstehen, zu nutzen, um ihre Reise in den Süden zu beginnen. (Winterquartiere in Afrika)
Von diesem Aussichtspunkt aus werden Beobachtungen durchgeführt und die Anzahl der gesichteten Vögel dokumentiert.
Bei Regenwetter keine Sichtungen.
 In mid-August many different species of birds of prey gather here in Carinthia to take advantage of the special thermals created by the steep walls of the Dobratsch to begin their journey south. (Winter quarters in Africa)
From this vantage point observations are made and the number of sighted birds documented.
In rainy weather no sightings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier kann man Ende August viele Greifvögel, besonders Wespenbussarde beobachten beim Flug in den Süden zum Winterquartier, manchmal bis zu 500 Vögel am Tag. 22. August bis 31. August werden die Vögel gezählt von Biologiestudenten. Für Greifvogel Freunde ein Besuch wert.
Here at the end of August you can see many birds of prey, especially honey buzzards, when flying south to their winter quarters, sometimes up to 500 birds a day. From August 22nd to August 31st the birds are counted by biology students. Well worth a visit for friends of birds of prey.
