Kommen immer gerne mir der Familie zum Essen. You get at 15 o'clock still an excellent meal. Recommended on the weekend the stuffed veal breast. Family and boss Werner a hammer. Always like to come to the family's food.

v	vinzenz kager on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viel deutet am Äußeren nicht darauf hin, dass sich hier ein Gasthaus befindet, so unscheinbar ist der Gregerwirt im Herzen von Modriach. Hier kehren wir immer wieder gerne ein, auf ein Getränk oder auf liebevoll zubereitete beste Hausmannskost. Zudem nimmt sich der Wirt immer für ein nettes Plauscherl Zeit. Pilger*innen am weststeirischen Jakobsweg finden hier auch alles, was sie brauchen. There is not much to suggest from the outside that there is an inn here, the Gregerwirt in the heart of Modriach is so inconspicuous. We always like to come back here, for a drink or for the best home-style cooking that has been lovingly prepared. In addition, the landlord always takes time for a nice chat. Pilgrims on the West Styrian Way of St. James will also find everything they need here.

Hausherr Werner Krammer "schupft" das Service allein und das bei vollen Gastzimmern. Trotzdem hat er stets einen Schmäh parat. Ich liebe es...seit den 90ern, als ich zum Schifahren hergekommen bin, hat sich nichts verändert!! There is no menu. Here you can get real home cooking freshly prepared and very tasty! The host, Werner Krammer, "pulls" the service on his own, even when the guest rooms are full. Nevertheless, he always has a disgrace ready. I love it ... nothing has changed since the 90s when I came here to ski !!
R	Richard Vettermann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Österreichisch - das beschreibt dieses charmante Gasthaus, das beim Betreten fast wie eine Zeitreise ist, wahrscheinlich am besten. Es sieht so aus als wäre alles seit Jahrzehnten unverändert, aber sehr gepflegt. Der äußerst nette Kellner, der um keinen Schmäh verlegen ist, hat die täglich frisch gekochte Speisenauswahl im Kopf - Karte gibt es keine. Dafür echte Rindsuppe und altösterreichische Spezialitäten wie z.B. gefüllte Kalbsbrust und Schweinsbraten mit knuspriger Schwarte. Alles war köstlich und die Preise angenehm günstig. Es gab auch eine große Auswahl an Mehlspeisen. Von außen fällt das Gasthaus kaum auf und ohne Online-Bewertung hätte ich es wohl auch nicht gefunden und wäre nicht reingegangen aber nach diesem tollen Mittagessen komme ich gerne wieder. Bei unserem Besuch Sonntag zu Mittag war die Gaststube fast voll und wir durften am Stammtisch sitzen. PS: Hier gibt's sogar noch Himbeerkracherl! Austrian - that probably best describes this charming inn, which is almost like traveling back in time when you step into it. It looks like everything has been unchanged for decades, but very well maintained. The extremely nice waiter, who is not at a loss for any abuse, has the freshly cooked selection of dishes in his head - there is no menu. Instead, real beef soup and old Austrian specialties such as stuffed veal breast and roast pork with crispy rind. Everything was delicious and the prices reasonably priced. There was also a wide variety of pastries. From the outside, the inn is hardly noticeable and without an online review I would not have found it and would not have gone in, but after this great lunch I would be happy to come back. When we visited Sunday at noon, the dining room was almost full and we were allowed to sit at the regulars' table. PS: You can even get raspberry crackers here!

Die Einrichtung ist eher nennen wir es einfach ;) aber für einen kleinen Stop auf jeden Fall in Ordnung! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft Very friendly village innkeeper with parking right in front of the door. Value for money was good and tasty. The decor is rather simple, let's call it ;) but definitely fine for a small stop! thanks for the hospitality
