M	Matt Schneemann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toller Golfplatz. Für sein Alter in top Zustand wer was Anspruch volles sucht ist dort genau richtig da in Hanglage gespielt wird. Essen ist dort sehr gute österreichische Küche und tolle Mehlspeisen. Preis ist total in Ordnung. Gehe dort gerne spielen. Great golf course. For his age in top condition who wanted what claim fully is there exactly right there on a hillside is played. Food is there very good Austrian cuisine and great pastries. Price is totally ok. Go there like to play.
F	Frau Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Golfplatz am Semmering ist trickreich aber sehr interessant. Die Aussicht auf Schneeberg und Rax ist einmalig und die Ruhe rundherum herrlich. Diesen Platz sollte jeder Golfer einmal gespielt haben. Eine Runde hat nur 9 Löcher aber die Chance, bei der zweiten Runde mehr zu treffen, macht das Wiederholenmüssen der ersten Runde wieder wett. Neulinge sind gut beraten, einen Ortskundigen zum Flightpartner zu haben! Sehr schade ist, dass es leider keinen Restaurantbetrieb mehr gibt, Nicht-Mitglieder können nur während der Sekretariatsöffnungszeiten Getränke und Jetons kaufen. The golf course at Semmering is tricky but very interesting. The view of Schneeberg and Rax is unique and the tranquility all around is wonderful. Every golfer should have played this course once. A round only has 9 holes, but the chance of hitting more on the second round makes up for having to repeat the first round. Newbies are well advised to have someone familiar with the area as their flight partner! It is a shame that there are unfortunately no longer any restaurants, non-members can only buy drinks and tokens during the secretariat's opening hours.

When you are at the Semmering golf course, you have a wonderful mountain panorama in front of you and you feel strongly connected to nature.
D	Dejan Dujkovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es war mir eine Ehre auf dem ältesten Golfplatz Österreichs zu spielen. Es war sehr fordernd. Der Platz ist steil aber hervorragend zu spielen. Sehr gepflegter Platz aber die Grüns sind sehr löchrig. Wird sich sicher ändern da ich Anfang Juni spielte. Das Restaurant und die Küche, sowie das gesamte Personal sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Parkplätze gibt es auch genug. Alles in allem kann ich es nur empfehlen. It was an honor for me to play on the oldest golf course in Austria. It was very demanding. The course is steep but excellent to play. Very well-kept place but the greens are very holey. Will change for sure since I played in early June. The restaurant and the kitchen, as well as the entire staff are very friendly and courteous. The food is very tasty. There is also enough parking space. All in all, I can only recommend it.

L	Lukas S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr anspruchsvoller Platz weil doch große Steigungen überwunden werden müssen. Man muss außerdem sehr genau spielen. Als Neulig hatte ich mir sehr schwer getan zu den Abschlägen zu finden bzw. die Spielrichtung zu erkennen, da man teilweise die Grüns nicht sieht. Der erste Abschlag ist witzig gewählt wenn man die Gäste des Restaurant als Publikum hat. Very demanding place because big gradients have to be overcome. You also have to play very carefully. As a newcomer, I found it very difficult to find the tees or to recognize the direction of play, as you sometimes cannot see the greens. The first tee is funny when you have the guests of the restaurant as an audience.

Almost all tee shots are blind, difficulty very unbalanced (par 4s super easy, most par 3s extremely hard), fairways cross one another, it's actually pretty dangerous at times... BUT, man, is it beautiful here. Sure, this won't be your everyday's golf course, but come and you'll be astonished. This is exactly what it looks like when someone builds a golf course on a ski slope. Yes, you'll be exhausted, many of your good shots will be punished, you'll never have a flat stance, but the nature, views, and friendly staff will compensate it. As it presents itself as a golf course, I can't give it more stars, but it won't stop me from recommending a visit. I absolutely do.
