M	Matthias Zirngibl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ja, aber... Aussen und innen passt nicht ganz zusammen. Aussen tolle Anlage, schöne Landschaft. Innen Zimmer mit einem Bad, das auch in einem drei Sterne Hotel sein könnte. Der Spa-Bereich ist gross, aber ungemütlich und unpraktisch. Sauna logischerweise unbekleidet, liegen bekleidet. Jaccuzi in dem Raum mit den Liegen extrem laut. Restaurant (Halbpension) schön, siehe Menü. Die Qualität war aber eher Mittelmaß. Servicefreundlichkeit durchweg sehr gut. Fazit: Preis/Leistung drei Sterne Yes, but ... Outside and inside don't quite match. Outside great area, beautiful landscape. Inside room with a bathroom, which could also be in a three star hotel. The spa area is large, but uncomfortable and impractical. Sauna logically undressed, lying on the bed. Jaccuzi in the room with the couches extremely loud. Restaurant (half board) nice, see menu. The quality was rather mediocre. Service friendliness very good. Conclusion: price / performance three stars
J	Josef Brixler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einfach vorbeigeschaut! Wunderbar gepflegte Anlage, freundliches Personal, herrliche Aussicht verleiten zu einem gediegenen Aufenthalt mit Konsumation. Durchaus erschwinglich. Just drop by! Wonderfully well-kept facility, friendly staff, wonderful view tempt to a dignified stay with consumption. Quite affordable.
C	Christian Freidl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Golfplatz mit Tradition, einer der ersten 20 in Österreich. Von Don Harradine 1985 auf 18 Loch erweitert und gekonnt in die Landschaft eingebettet. Das Design kommt mit wenig künstlichen Hindernissen wie Bunkern oder Teichen aus. Das Gelände ist sportlich anspruchsvoll, die Runde aber zu Fuß durchaus machbar. Herrliches Panorama, es wird nie fad. Der Platz ist top in Schuss, alles gepflegt und sauber. Freundliche Gastgeber, auch in der Gastronomie. Die nass anhaltende Witterung hat dem Platz nicht zugesetzt, nur wenige Stellen wirklich feucht. Bunker gut spielbar. Die Übungsanlagen liegen etwas entfernt vom Clubhaus, einige Abschläge aber auch in der Nähe. Schönes Putting Grün vor Tee 1 in fantastischer Kulisse. Hier ist man Gast und fühlt sich willkommen, auch vom tiefenentspannten Clubhund. A golf course with tradition, one of the first 20 in Austria. Expanded to 18 holes by Don Harradine in 1985 and skilfully embedded in the landscape. The design manages with few artificial obstacles such as bunkers or ponds. The terrain is demanding from a sporting point of view, but the loop is quite feasible on foot. Wonderful panorama, it never gets boring. The place is in great shape, everything is neat and clean. Friendly hosts, also in gastronomy. The persistent wet weather did not affect the place, only a few places really damp. Bunker easy to play. The practice facilities are a bit away from the clubhouse, but a few tees are also nearby. Nice putting green in front of tee 1 in a fantastic setting. Here you are a guest and feel welcome, even from the deeply relaxed club dog.

M	Milan Blazek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second stop on our annual trip to Adamstal, was Pichlarn course. I will rate golf course not the whole complex. This course is standart hotel course. It is well situated next to great hotel. Parking lot next to clubhouse. Training ammenities are more oriented to hotel guests. Driving range is not in walking distance from 1st tee and clubhouse. A bit disapointment was that you cannot buy a birdie card, because simply they do not have it, bit bad for people who does not know the course. 1st tee is next to proshop. And game starts. Front nine will bring you down to flat area, some holes itself are nothing special, they are not easy, there is lot of trees and you need to be pretty accurate with your shots. Greens were perfect, juicy, soft, average speed since course was a bit soggy from rain. Fairways were not that nice, good but nothing special, many dry spots. Very nice halfway station, where you can get som refreshment. Then will come the back nine. It is completely different one, few very interesting holes and shots. You will need to bring your A game. Without birdie card you play so many blind shots. Hole 12,13,14 are very interesting. Finishing 18th is nice par3. I can imagine to come back, but to spend time in hotel wellnes and play back 9.
