★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We use Goldeck as it's close to family but it's not just the convenience that we enjoy. The mountain is incredibly well looked after with most runs being well groomed. We generally go towards the beginning of Feb or end of Feb and it is never particularly busy. The grading on the runs is a bit of the deceptive side as blues can be quite steep but are very wide to allow a little forgiveness. Prices of food and drink on the mountain is also incredibly reasonable. There's not much else around so if you're looking for a lively time after your day on the slopes, you may struggle but if you're happy to kick back and relax, it's ideal.
