D	Danny A. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Goldschaubergwerk bietet einen schönen Ausflug in die Vergangenheit. Man trifft sich in der Kehre und kauft dort die Tickets. Für 2 Erwachsene plus Kind mit Urlaubspass haben wir etwas um die 30 EUR bezahlt. Von dort wandert man mit Führer den Berg hinab an der kleinen Kirche vorbei zum Stollen. Die Besichtigung dauert ca. 20 min und wird mit Videos untermalt. Anschließend gehts mit der Bimmelbahn wieder zurück zum Parkplatz. Sehr interessant - aber erst für etwa 8+ Jahre zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einige Kleinkinder dabei, die im Dunkeln des Stollen nur geweint und geschrien haben ? Ist auch etwas gruselig gemacht... Ein paar hatte auch einen kleinen Hund dabei - würde ich auch nicht empfehlen, da auch rutschige schmale Treppen zu steigen sind... Im Anschluss kann man die Käserei besichtigen und den Käse verkosten. Ein kleiner Tierpark mit einheimischen Tieren ist auch mit angeschlossen. Zu guter Letzt kann man noch Gold oder Edelsteine schürfen. Für die Kiddies ein riesen Spaß - dafür muss man allerdings extra bezahlen... Insgesamt eine Empfehlung ?? The gold mine offers a nice trip back in time. You meet in the bend and buy the tickets there. We paid around 30 EUR for 2 adults plus child with a holiday pass. From there you hike with a guide down the mountain past the small church to the tunnel. The tour takes about 20 minutes and is accompanied by videos. Then you take the little train back to the parking lot. Very interesting - but only recommended for about 8+ years. We had some toddlers with us who just cried and screamed in the dark of the tunnel ? It was also made a bit scary ... A couple also had a small dog - I would not recommend it, as there are also narrow, slippery stairs to climb .. . Afterwards you can visit the cheese dairy and taste the cheese. A small zoo with local animals is also connected. Last but not least, you can also mine gold or precious stones. A lot of fun for the kiddies - but you have to pay extra for that ... Overall a recommendation ??

Man sollte gut zu Fuß und trittsicher sein, da der Weg bis zum Bergwerk schon recht steinig ist-also nix für Kinderwagen! Alfred der uns durchs Bergwerk und dahin geleitet hat, hat alles sehr anschaulich erklärt! Very nice, interesting and entertaining tour. You should be able to walk well and be sure-footed, as the way to the mine is quite rocky - so nothing for prams! Alfred, who guided us through the mine and there, explained everything very clearly!

Jedoch besichtigt man nicht nur das Bergwerk, sondern macht erst eine kleine geführte Wanderung (Berg ab), vorbei an einer Kapelle bis ins Tal. Das Bergwerk selbst ist sehr beeindruckend. An der Organisation könnte jedoch noch gearbeitet werden. So musste unsere Gruppe im Bergwerk zuwarten, bis die vorherige Gruppe eine Station weiter zog. Allgemein könnte etwas investiert werden. Beispielsweise sieht man bei der Führung einen Film, der gefühlt aus den 80er/90er Jahren stammt. Zurück zum Ausgangspunkt wird man mit einer Bimmelbahn gefahren. Bei dem Ticket ist noch ein kleiner Tierpark inkludiert. Achtung: ggf. mit Wartezeiten rechnen (ggf. 1 - 1,5h), je nachdem wie die Nachfrage ist. Overall a nice experience. However, one does not only visit the mine, but first makes a small guided hike (mountain down), past a chapel and into the valley. The mine itself is very impressive. However, the organization could still be worked on. So our group had to wait in the mine until the previous group moved one station further. In general, something could be invested. For example, during the tour you can see a film that feels like it was made in the 80s / 90s. You will be driven back to the starting point with a little train. A small zoo is included in the ticket. Attention: if necessary, expect waiting times (possibly 1 - 1.5 hours), depending on the demand.

J	Justin Wild on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You start off the tour by driving in a little train to a church. Then you head to the mine. It's not a very large mine. The tour is only in German. There were a few signs you could read in English. They also give you headphones for the audio recordings in the mine to hear in English. However, the guide only spoke German (he knew English). They warned us of this in advance. It was a good tour but I would recommend it only if you speak German. After the mine tour you get to try 2 cheeses and 1 salami.
C	Christy Duijvelaar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant location for a 2.5 hour experience. Fun for children from 6-7 to 15 or so. Not too exciting for the teenagers. Starting with a walk downhill, lots of info in local language about the life of the eighteenth century mountain workers / gold diggers. Not a smooth life or job at the time. These guys did not get very old.... The region was poor and getting the gold from the rocks was tough work. After the walk a tour through the renovated goldmine inside the mountain. Cold and wet. The interactive presentation was hard to follow for non native speakers of Zillertal Austrian. Way back up the mountain with the tractor diesel train. Fun and causing traffic jam. Cheese production on site, small souvenir shop and locally produced jausen for sale.
