★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for authentic Austrian / Viennese food. Beware, portions are generous, so don't over order :). The staff is polite and great. The place has a rally classic vibe to it and history to match. It does get busy, so would advice booking ahead. Definitely reccomend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Viennese restaurant with a very suggestive atmosphere. Popular among the locals. The staff is super friendly, they managed to find us a place although the place was packed and we had no reservation. Food and beer are excellent and the prices normal. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The GMOAKELLER serves very good traditional food, even brain with egg. Hirn mit Ei. The interior is very authentic too. Notice the huge painting. It’s by the famous Austrian artist Hermann Nitsch, who is notorious for spilling pig’s blood on canvas.

nearby the first district, so it's a little cheaper but the same quality as all the other touristy places.
Lunch menu is a bit of a hit and miss - something great and something there is nothing to choose from.
But overall, a very good place to eat at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant off the main road. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have a reservation and they still worked to fit us in. I had the Martin’s Goose which was delicious, and my friend ordered the Vienna Schnitzel which he also rated as top notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for tasty, traditional food when in Vienna, Gmoakeller is a place to be! Food is delicious and staff super friendly! Don’t miss their baked marrow, pumpkin soup and especially their baked veil liver! Serving time especially with starters could be improved but the rest was really a super positive experience!
