They don't li'e foreigners, they don't want to speak English, and if you are vegan, only spaghettis tomato sauce, all days, nothing else. Better to take your sandwich... They don't care about people, and the girl where you pay really not polite..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The easiest way to get up to the glacier, well-maintained, clean, quick and convenient. It's a big cabin going along tracks through the heart of the mountain, built in the early 1980's. In winter you'll basically step right into the glacier ski resort by leaving the gondola.
It's running all year long, service is absolutely reliable. There's a big cafeteria on the first floor of the glacier station, but I'd suggest to go further by cable car to the "3440 Café" for a unique experience.
