★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom Ortskern Spital am Phyrn (Zwischen Sparkasse und Feuerwehrhaus) führt ein ca. 2,5 km langer Wanderweg zum eigentlichen Startpunkt des Gewässerlehrpfades. Dieser Themenweg kann auch von der Talstation der Wurzeralm in Angriff genommen werden. Insgesamt ist der ursprüngliche Gewässerlehrpfad ca. 2,5 km lang. Die Stationstafeln sind informativ gestaltet und der Weg ausreichend ausgeschildert. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen Pfad durch den Wald der von Feldwegen unterbrochen wird.
From the center of Spital am Phyrn (between the Sparkasse and the fire station) an approx. 2.5 km long hiking trail leads to the actual starting point of the water educational trail. This themed trail can also be tackled from the Wurzeralm valley station. In total, the original water educational trail is approx. 2.5 km long. The station boards are designed to be informative and the route is adequately signposted. This is a path through the forest that is interrupted by dirt roads.
