★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Billrothhaus ist der Sitz der Gesellschaft der Ärzte in Wien. Die Aufgabe dieser Gesellschaft ist die ständige Weiterbildung. Aus Platznot wurde 1892 der Neorenaissancebau errichtet. Wichtig waren ausreichend Platz für eine umfangreiche Bibliothek und ein großer Sitzungssaal. Beide Räume werden heute noch entsprechend ihrer ursprünglichen Widmung genutzt und stehen den Mitgliedern zur Verfügung.
 The Billrothhaus is the seat of the Society of Doctors in Vienna. The task of this society is constant further education. The neo-renaissance building was built in 1892 due to a lack of space. It was important to have enough space for an extensive library and a large conference room. Both rooms are still used today according to their original purpose and are available to members.

A beautifully preserved historic building. The lecture hall looks like an opera. In the summer, hot and no ventilation.
