An kühlen Tagen wärmt der leckere starke Jagatee in der Gaststätte. Gerne wieder! We come every year. Nice service, good Wiener Schnitzel and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. When the weather is nice it is wonderful to sit outside in the sun. The tasty strong one warms you up on cool days Jagatee in the restaurant. Gladly again!
G	Gereon Tamme on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wenig abgelegen direkt hinter der Grenze. Ein Ort der himmlischen Ruhe. Mann wird freundlich aufgenommen und fühlt sich richtig wohl. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und freundlich eingerichtet. Auch das Badezimmer ist schön groß mit Tageslicht. Am Essen gibt es meiner Meinung nach auch nichts auszusetzen. Das Essen ist schmackhaft und auf Wünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Hier fühle ich mich Wohl. A little out of the way just across the border. A place of heavenly peace. Man is welcomed in a friendly manner and feels really good. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom is also nice and large with natural light. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with the food. The food is tasty and requests are gladly catered for. I feel comfortable here.

Instead, the confirmed booking I had was denied by the owner on arrival because they messed up and their dog rooms were taken (even though I had a personal email from him confirming the booking WITH a dog and had gone through the check-in process the day before arriving). He sent us to the next town over to pay more for a room that would take us. This was incredibly inconvenient, as we were not going to have a car for our stay and the alternate hotel was an hour long walk from Erl. Mistakes happen, I get it, and all of this would have been fine if we had been treated kindly, but he offered no apology for the inconvenience and treated us poorly. I would guess he gets plenty of business from the Festspiele and therefore feels no need to cater to his guests. Better to stay somewhere with a nicer atmosphere.
