Auch die Nudeln ein Gedicht. Und wo bekommt man noch ein gutes Schleppe Bier ? ???. Wir kommen wieder. The excellent quality of the food made us quickly forget the longer waiting time. What if everything is really freshly prepared. The pasta is also a poem. And where else can you get a good Schleppe beer ? ???. We will be back.

Stattdessen eine Tafel mit Tagesgerichten ohne Preisangabe. Und hier ist auch das größte Manko: Die Preisgestalltung wirkt im Vergleich zur Lokalität nicht authentisch und abgehoben. Qualität und Geschmack der Speisen waren stimmig The location is very well-kept and is located in the center of Maria Saal. You don't get a menu. Instead, a board with daily specials without a price. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und liebevoll zubereitet und geschmückt mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft. Ein solch gutes Lokal würde man nie am Land vermuten, geschweige denn suchen. Had probably the best tomato soup to date. Have in the sunshine on the terrace the view of the cathedral and in the distance the mountains can enjoy. The food was excellent and lovingly prepared and decorated with warm hospitality. You would never expect such a good restaurant in the country, let alone search for it.

Innen etwas muffelig, aber authentisch. Genauso wie der Wirt... Das Essen durchweg frisch und hochqualitativ mit Liebe und Gefühl zubereitet. Wir sehen uns wieder! Entenkeule, Kohlrabisuppe, Bärlauchnudeln, Eisdessert - alles ausgezeichnet und mit angenehmem Service. Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen gerne weiter. Eine Anregung hätte ich - und ich habe auch bei anderen Gästen bemerkt, dass sie das gerne hätten: die "Speisekarte" ist eine große mit Kreide beschriebene Tafel, die charmant vom Service an den Tisch getragen wird. Darauf stehen viele feine Tagesgerichte - jedoch keine Preise. Das mögen Gäste nicht sehr. Zudem sollte bitte immer auch die Dauer-Speisekarte mit angeboten werden - die wird geradezu "verheimlicht" - denn auch auf dieser gibt es einiges zu entdecken. On Sunday, June 21, 2020, I was with my wife and daughter as a long-distance traveler (Taxenbach) at the Sandwirt for lunch and we were doing very well there. Duck leg, kohlrabi soup, wild garlic noodles, ice cream dessert - all excellent and with pleasant service. We will definitely come back and would be happy to recommend. I would have a suggestion - and I have also noticed with other guests that they would like it: the "menu" is a large chalkboard, which is charmingly carried to the table by the service. There are many fine dishes of the day - but no prices. Guests don't like that very much. In addition, the permanent menu should also always be offered - it is almost "hidden" - because there is also a lot to discover on this.

Seine Stärke ist auch die Kräuter harmonisch in die Speisen zu verarbeiten. Zudem ist Maria Saal ein ausgesprochener Kraftort...Bitte unbedingt besuchen!!
