M	Miloš Kučera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Byli jsme pouze na kávu, museli jsme kolem Dunaje objíždět dálnici u Melku. Krásná bundeska. Gasthof skvělý, pes vítán a dostal misku s vodou bez váhání. A česká obsluha na závěr. Velice milí. We were only for coffee, we had to go around the Danube highway near Melk. Beautiful jacket. Gasthof great, dog welcome and got a bowl of water without hesitation. And Czech service at the end. Very nice.

Although close to the road there was no traffic noise, and our room was quiet with a view out over the Danube. The dining room is pleasant, and the evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We sat in the dining room and watched the boats going up and down the river.. Negative: Maybe the bar area is a bit small, but there is also and outside sitting area - unfortunately it was too wet and cold to use when we were there..
L	Laura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Location close to the Melk Abbey (a 1hour ride by bike) and generally to nice castles and ruins; breakfast and generally the food was very good. I liked that the host offers bike rental. Staff very friendly and helpful with different advices on activities around that area. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Negative: One thing which was tricky and not mentioned in the room description (nor seen in the pics), was that the room with balcony faces the main street which is very busy! A nice view but very loud. Even in the evening it was loud because of the cars. I didn't like that at all. Another thing I didn't like is that there is no air conditioning in the room so everytime we opened the windows at night for fresh air, it was loud from the street. If it was specified in the description, I would have given up the room with the view and taken a quite one instead..
