Zum Abschluss noch ein Schnapserl vom Chef. Kommen wieder!!! Top!!! A wonderful meal (2 game dishes) perfectly cooked by the junior chef and served with a smile by the senior chef. Finally, a schnapps from the boss. Come again!!! Top!!!

Seither wird auch die Gaststätte von der selben Familie geführt, was definitiv für das Restaurant spricht. Bei jedem Ausflug nach Kärnten ist es ein kleines "Highlight" im Bierwirt einzukehren. Der Bierwirt hat eine üppige und schöne Aussenterrasse in ruhiger Lage. Auch innen hat die Gaststätte einen klassischen Charme der zum verweilen einlädt. Früher gab es die Schartner Bombe , heute das Hausbier. Eine Mischung aus einem hellen und einem dunklen Bier. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wenn man dort ist! Geschmacklich ist das Bier mild und hat einen eigenen Charakter. Wer gerne etwas neues probiert, ist hier garantiert auf der sicheren Seite. Die Produkte die auf den Teller kommen stammen von regionalen Lieferanten. Hier hat die Gaststätte auch ein Gütesiegel. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das "Bierwirtgeheimnis". Sofern man verraten darf: dabei handelt es sich um Schweinefilet umwickelt mit Speck. Der Koch, welcher auch Inhaber ist, versteht definitiv sein Handwerk und überzeugt bei jedem Essen (sei es der Grillteller, das Bierwirtgeheimnis, der Bauernschmaus oder auch Wild) mit einer Bestleistung. Seitdem ich denken kann, gab es keinen einzigen Kritikpunkt. Auch der Vorspeisensalat ist frisch und knackig und besticht mit einem leckeren Dressing. Das Lob gilt auch dem super Service, der immer einen flotten Spruch parat hat. Auch das trägt unmittelbar zum Wohlfühlfaktor bei. Preislich ist die Gaststätte auch sehr fair unterwegs! Kann diese Gaststätte nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in der Nähe ist oder einen Besuch von weiters weg plant! We have been going to this great restaurant on our vacation in Carinthia since my childhood days. Since then, the restaurant has been run by the same family, which definitely speaks for the restaurant. Every trip to Carinthia is a little "highlight" at the Bierwirt. The Bierwirt has a lush and beautiful outdoor terrace in a quiet location. Inside, too, the restaurant has a classic charm that invites you to linger. In the past there was the Schartner bomb, today the house beer. A mix of a light and a dark beer. Definitely a recommendation when you are there! In terms of taste, the beer is mild and has its own character. Those who like to try something new are guaranteed to be on the safe side here. The products on the plate come from regional suppliers. Here the restaurant also has a seal of approval. The "beer host secret" is particularly recommended. If you can give away: this is pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon. The chef, who is also the owner, definitely understands his craft and impresses with every meal (be it the grill plate, the beer host secret, the farmer's feast or game) with a top performance. As long as I can remember, there hasn't been a single point of criticism. The starter salad is also fresh and crunchy and has a delicious dressing. The praise also goes to the great service, who always has a quick quote ready. This also contributes directly to the feel-good factor. In terms of price, the restaurant is also very fair! Highly recommend this eatery to anyone who is nearby or planning to visit from afar!
