J	Jim Barwick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to stay , welcoming staff as it is family run , nothing seems to be too much trouble , wonderful scenery from the hotel , wonderful food and the rooms are all spacious , clean and well presented, only down side is no tea/coffee making facilities in your room . I would highly recommend it to you

Only place to go after evening meal (which was ok but nothing special - a lot of pork) was the bedroom which had two dining chairs. Bed headboard had a shelf at a height which prevented you from leaning BA against it. On plus side the bathroom was very good with walk in shower, but towels were very thin. I wouldn't go here again.

Rooms are clean and spacious with fabulous views from the balcony. The food is very nice didn't have a bad meal. I would happily return for another stay if I was in Austria again.
C	Celia Bellamy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old fashioned, tyrolean type of hotel - could have done with a kettle to make a cuppa first thing in the morning but I forgot to pack mine and apparently this is typical of hotels in Austria so lesson learnt for next time. The scenery was to die for and we were lucky to have wonderful weather. A bit isolated but the Spar shop had everything we needed and more. We went with a travel firm so had trips out everyday and the meals on the evening were freshly prepared. I would have preferred some croissants for breakfast as there was a lot of bread on offer but the eggs were very fresh and tasty. The rooms were very clean and we found the staff friendly and attentive. I would prefer a 4.5 rating. Would be very happy to visit again - peace, quiet and spectacular scenery - who needs anything more!
