Empfehlenswert! Böhmische Spezialitäten.
The best roasted dumplings I've ever tasted. The Powidltascherl were also excellent. Recommendable! Bohemian specialties.

One of the best pikeperch I've ever eaten. The pancakes were excellent too! Starobrno is of course top ?? Service friendly and very hard-working. Guest garden and premises absolutely in order. Would eat there again.

High prices, but partly small portions, which were not appealing both visually and in terms of taste. 15 € for a dish that we know as Tyrolean Gröstl, without side dishes and hardly a whole plate. Unfortunately, we couldn't get enough. Maybe we got the wrong day with October 26th as a public holiday, but we wouldn't visit this inn again.

Koch played on the piano and then went into the kitchen as we entered the restaurant. No control of a test, no registration. Food was ok, but unfortunately enough glutamate inside, especially in the sauce, the bread dumplings were old and dried out.

I can not say anything about the food, but the general customer-service is far from acceptable. We had a call with the restaurant wether it is problematic for them to hold a dinner for 13 people. They said on the phone, it's all right no problem. We agreed on a time as well, which was 8:00 pm, they claimed it's not a problem. We arrived at the restaurant, where they told us to hurry up, because the kitchen is about to close (not mentioned on the phone). Not to mention the fact that half of the menu card was crossed out, it was surprising. Then one of ours mentioned that he would prefer his side-dish without onion, and the whole dinner collapsed. The chef came out furious, like "what does it take so long"? We mentioned our slight discomfort with the attitude towards us, still hoping, because of the phone call we had. Then the chef became totally mad, he started talking to us, like we were criminals or something. He screamed stuff, like "we didn't have the telephone talk" and "I don't care that you are the guests". So we payed the drinks and left. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant, their unacceptable behaviour (especially the chef's) made the place a must-to-avoid. Personally, I don't think it is hard for a restaurant to say "sorry, we can not make you a proper dinner due to...". In my opinion this would be a basic expectation, to tell the guests the truth and be aware of the capabilty of the restaurant. Not to mention, if we talked on the phone, getting no information about the possible problems and discomforts, then you can not expect the guests to play by the restaurant's sudden rules and be completely fine with it. I am sending my best regards to the chef as well, being unnecessarily offensive and loud with us, while we were being completely polite and told our problems and thoughts with an acceptable attitude.

Nice garden, next to main road. If you dont drive you get a good Czech beer. Food unfortunately pricey and small portions. They put loads of green weeds in everyting. We left hungry.
