B	Barbara Pöschl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Gasthaus befindet sich in ganz besonders schöner Lage nahe Loibes, ist ein historisches Gebäude, wunderbar und liebevoll von seinem Besitzer restauriert. Wir machten eine Wanderung auf den Predigtstuhl (718 m) und kehrten dann in dieses vor zwei Wochen eröffnete Gasthaus ein. Heute reichte die Zeit nur für einen Kaffee und ein Gläschen Wein, beim nächsten Mal wollen wir uns auch mit einer Mahlzeit aus der kleinen aber feinen Speisekarte stärken. The inn is located in a particularly beautiful location near Loibes, is a historic building, wonderfully and lovingly restored by its owner. We hiked the Predigtstuhl (718 m) and then returned to this inn, which opened two weeks ago. Today was enough time for a coffee and a glass of wine, next time we want to strengthen ourselves with a meal from the small but fine menu.

Wir waren überrascht über die gefühlvolle Sanierung und über das gute Ambiente das es in den Gasträumen gibt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet ( Krautfleisch) und der Wein sehr gut. Es waren viele Gäste und alle haben sich wohlgefühlt. Der Innhaber und seine Mutter haben sehr nett mit uns geplaudert und wir können das Lokal allen empfehlen. The food was excellent (cabbage) and the wine very good. There were many guests and everyone felt comfortable. B	Brigitte Moser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entzückendes Ambiente, niedrige Preise und hervorragendes Essen. Ein altes Jagdhaus wurde liebevoll und originell renoviert. Im riesigen Hof ladet eine Holzterrasse zum Draußensitzen ein. Hunde sind willkommen und werden vom Hund des Wirtes begrüßt. Der (also der Wirt) ist ein ausgezeichneter Koch, spezialisiert auf österreichische Hausmannskost wie Schweinsbraten, Beuschel, Gulasch usw. Diese sind aber modern und sehr, sehr gut gemacht (mager, flachsenfrei, ...). Genau das Richtige um gemütlich in familiärer Atmosphäre zu entspannen. Wer sich allerdings Miniportionen zu Wucherpreisen, 200 Jahre alte Weine und fünf Kellner um den Tisch herum wünscht, sollte sich ein anderes Lokal suchen. Delightful ambience, low prices and excellent food. An old hunting lodge has been lovingly and originally renovated. In the huge courtyard, a wooden terrace invites you to sit outside. Dogs are welcome and are greeted by the host's dog. The (i.e. the landlord) is an excellent cook, specializing in Austrian home cooking such as roast pork, beuschel, goulash etc. These are modern and very, very well made (lean, free of flax, ...). Just the thing to relax comfortably in a family atmosphere. However, if you want mini portions at exorbitant prices, 200-year-old wines and five waiters around the table, you should look for a different place.
H	Hubert Endl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das ist einmal ein etwas anderes Lokal mitten "am Land". Das essen ist sehr gut und vor allem alles frisch und selber gekocht und die Aussicht wunderschön. Die Einrichtung ist fast wie ein Wohnzimmer bei Freunden. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder. This is a different place in the middle of the country. The food is very good and, above all, everything is fresh and homemade and the view is beautiful. The decor is almost like a living room with friends. I will definitely be back.

Es hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Und der Service war auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. The inn, which is beautifully situated in the countryside, belongs to a very friendly host who himself cooks dishes from regional ingredients. It tasted great to us. And the service was very friendly and attentive too.

Das konsumierte Wildschweingulasch gut, würzig, mürbes Fleisch, dazu die Scheiben vom Serviettenknödel luftig, leicht, semmelig ?. Stimmig. Alles. Das Bier dazu, ein Zwettler, kühl, erfrischend. Mehr als wert wiederzukommen. Echt zum Empfehlen. Eine Woche später nochmals hier gewesen, diesmal das Salonbeuschel (von der Karte) gewählt, dazu flaumiges Serviettenknödel. Das Gericht selbst sehr gut, schmackhaft. Small card, beautiful design in the middle of time and space ?, at the Predigtstuhl. Quaint, friendly, amicable. The wild boar goulash consumed is good, spicy, tender meat, with the slices of the napkin dumpling airy, light, roll-like ?. Coherent. Everything. The beer to go with it, a Zwettler, cool, refreshing. More than worth coming back. Really recommendable. A week later I was here again, this time the Salonbeuschel (from the menu) chosen, with fluffy napkin dumplings. The dish itself is very good, tasty.

Zwischen den Feldern schmiegt sich ein kleiner Hof an den Wald- wer hätte gedacht, dass sich hier ein waldviertler Kulinarikhighlight mit viel Herz und familiärer Atmosphäre versteckt. Absolute Empfehlung! Wonderful food, nice ambience and in the middle of nature. Between the fields, a small courtyard nestles against the forest - who would have thought that a culinary highlight from the Waldviertel with a lot of heart and a familiar atmosphere is hidden here. Absolute recommendation!
