Unfortunately, no longer recommended. Weak staff, price / performance ratio is no longer appropriate. Thus deleted from the list.

K	Klaus Malik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Habe vor kurzem eine Sendung gesehen wo über Hotels in Österreich berichtet wurde, unter anderem auch vom Seehof in Goldegg von Hrn. Schellhorn. Dachte, das muss ich mir mal ansehen. Dieses Wochenende in Goldegg haben wir noch erfahren, dass „Der Bierführer“ auch von Hrn. Schellhorn gekauft wurde und stattete dem Gasthaus, voller Vorfreude auf ein gutes Glas Wein und einer kleiner Nachspeise, mit meiner Frau und Tochter einen Besuch ab. Die Enttäuschung folgte zugleich. Wir wurden mit den Worten „Da könnt‘s euch hinsetzen“ damit waren zwei Tische am Gang im Eingangsbereich gemeint, empfangen. Auf meine Frage ob wir auch im „Stammtisch-Zimmer“ sitzen können war die Antwort das demnächst dort geschlossen wird und außerdem nur zum Essen gedacht ist. Ob wir etwas Essen wollen wurden wir aber gleich gar nicht gefragt. Fazit: Von einem Gastronomiebetrieb eines Hrn. Schellhorns hätte ich mir aufgrund der Fernsehsendung mehr erwartet. Haben uns dann auch den Weg zum Seehof gespart. Unfortunately not to be recommended. I recently saw a program that reported on hotels in Austria, including from the Seehof in Goldegg by Mr. Schellhorn. Thought I'd have to take a look. This weekend in Goldegg we found out that “Der Bierführer” was also bought by Mr. Schellhorn and, full of anticipation for a good glass of wine and a small dessert, we paid a visit to the inn with my wife and daughter. The disappointment followed at the same time. We were greeted with the words “You can sit down there”, meaning two tables in the hallway in the entrance area. When I asked whether we could also sit in the "Stammtisch room", the answer was that it will be closed there soon and that it is only intended for eating. But we weren't even asked if we wanted something to eat. Conclusion: I would have expected more from a Mr. Schellhorn's restaurant because of the television broadcast. We saved the trip to the Seehof.
R	Rupert Wildberger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Speisen sind gut, das service sehr Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind eher auf der höheren Seite also eher etwas für besondere Anlässe. The food is good, the service is very friendly and courteous. The prices are on the higher side, so something for special occasions.
F	Florian Werner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider sehr enttäuschend! Unter dem langjährigen Vorpächter stimmte einfach alles. Vom ehemaligen Charm ist, bis auf die Möbel, nichts mehr übrig. Wir kamen uns vor wie Bittsteller und nicht wie willkommene Gäste. Sehr schade was aus dem „Bürgler“ geworden ist….? Unfortunately very disappointing! Everything was just right under the long-term tenant. Apart from the furniture, nothing is left of the former charm. We felt like supplicants rather than welcome guests. It's a pity what has become of the "Bürgler"....?
