★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gutes steirisches Gasthaus mit geschmackvollem Essen. Portionen waren fast zu groß für unseren Geschmack. Personal sehr freundlich. Wundervolle Aussicht vom Gastgarten zum Stubenbergsee. Empfehlenswert.
Good Styrian inn with tasty food. Portions were almost too big for our taste. Staff very friendly. Wonderful view from the guest garden to the Stubenbergsee. Recommendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super schöne Aussicht, die Kellnerin freundlich, flott und im positivsten Sinn ein bissl goschert ? sowie gutes Essen, eher große Portionen (sehr gute Leberknödelsuppe, der Knödel hätte aber nicht schärfer sein dürfen, Grillteller groß und gut, sehr gute Marillenknödel), der Himbeersekt als Aperitif auch sehr gut. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall sehr wohlgefühlt. Zu Fuß von Ort und See auch gut erreichbar, da verdient man sich die großzügigen Portionen auch gleich etwas ?. Vom Essen gibt es leider keine Fotos, über das haben wir uns gleich hergemacht und aufs Fotografieren vergessen
Super nice view, the waitress friendly, brisk and in the most positive sense a bit of goschert ? as well as good food, rather large portions (very good liver dumpling soup, but the dumpling shouldn't have been hotter, grill plate big and good, very good apricot dumplings), the raspberry sparkling wine Also very good as an aperitif. We definitely felt very comfortable. Also easily accessible on foot from the village and the lake, so you deserve the generous portions right away ?. Unfortunately, there are no photos of the food, so we got down to it right away and forgot to take photos

Very good food and friendly staff. The view of the Stubenbergsee is beautiful. We will be back definitely.

The Zander was too salty, the butter too brown and the potatoes over cooked.
The meat on the Grillteller was good and moist, but the vegetables seemed hardly seasoned and merely steamed.

Food was fresh, stuff was friendly.
Firts time tried the potato sausage (Erdäpfelwurst) and was excellent.
You should try the desert too.

Minus 3 for the waitress which succeeded to destroy the nice atmosphere. 2 other pairs of guests said that she is always like that: specially unfriendly towards not local people
