★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Man sollte mindestens einen Fasttag vor dem geplanten Besuch bei Widhalms einlegen und ja kein Frühstück vorher zu sich nehmen, denn die Portionen sind gigantisch! Super Küche! Ein Lob an den Junior Koch, er macht seiner Mutter Ehre als ihr Nachfolger!
 You should stop at Widhalms at least one fast day before your planned visit and don't eat breakfast beforehand, because the portions are gigantic! Great kitchen! Praise to the junior chef, he honors his mother as her successor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein richtig klassisches "Wirtshaus" mit freundlichen Kellnern. Für Vegetarier gibt es nur ein Gericht aber meiner Meinung nach ist das nocht so schlimm (bin selbst Vegetarier). Das Essen wird sehr schnell serviert - ergo keine lange Wartezeit! Die Portionen sind auch für hungrige Gäste mehr als ausreichend. Der Preis für Getränk + Essen ist wirklich günstig, vor allem wenn man am Wochenende das Menü bestellt (wird Samstag und Sonntag angeboten meines Wissens nach). Jedenfalls einen Besuch wert!
A really classic "inn" with friendly waiters. There is only one dish for vegetarians, but in my opinion that's still that bad (I'm a vegetarian myself). The food is served very quickly - ergo no long waiting time! The portions are also more than sufficient for hungry guests. The price for drink + food is really cheap, especially if you order the menu at the weekend (as far as I know it is offered on Saturday and Sunday). Anyway worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Große Portionen zu kleinen Preisen. Rasches und freundliches Service. Nur das Ambiente ist etwas speisesaalmäßig. Es steht auch ein großer Parkplatz vor dem Haus zur Verfügung.
Large portions at low prices. Fast and friendly service. Only the ambience is a bit dining room-like. There is also a large parking lot in front of the house.
