 Anyone who loves cheese spaetzle is in good hands here, beautiful old forest house, perfect hosts, a great experience and highly recommended.

Very nice host who greets every guest personally. Anyone looking for the world's best cheese buttons (spaetzle) will find them here in Egg. Reservation necessary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ausgesprochen leckere Käsknöpfle, wortwörtlich so viel man will, (der Wirt schöpft reichlich nach, bis auch der rundeste Bauch zum bersten gefüllt ist) in urigem Landgasthof Ambiente und das zum absoluten Hammer Preis.
Gegen den Durst wird ein ansehnliches Wein Sortiment und kühles Bier aus der Region angeboten.
Wer nach dem Essen doch noch Platz hat kann sich mit hausgemachtem Apfelstrudel verwöhnen lassen.
Wir kommen wieder. Nicht nur einmal.
Exceptionally delicious Käsknöpfle, literally as much as you want, (the landlord scoops up plenty until even the roundest belly is filled to bursting) in a rustic country inn ambience and at an absolutely great price.
A good selection of wines and cold beers from the region are offered to quench your thirst.
If you still have space after dinner, you can indulge yourself with homemade apple strudel.
We will be back. Not just once.

The best cheese dumplings we have ever eaten. Seconds as much as we wanted, very friendly innkeeper who explained the origin of the name to us and unique original restaurant.

Owner greeted us when we arrived and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable even though we did not speak German and he spoke little English.
It simply did not matter.
We communicated very well.
We had the special kasspatzle was very very good and it came with a very tasty salad.
We also had the apple strudel and enjoyed it a lot.
We would definitely return here.
