Alb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Frühstück war hervorragend, alles frisch und abwechslungsreich, Rührei / Spiegelei ebenfalls täglich frisch zubereitet, hausgemachte Marmeladen / Konfitüren (sehr zu empfehlen), der Service perfekt, alles sehr sauber. Die Sauna sehr modern, unkompliziert zu nutzen. Die Lage des Gasthofes im Ort ist sehr zentral. Der Gastwirt ist immer ansprechbar und hat für jeden Geschmack regionale Tipps parat. Sehr zu empfehlen die Nutzung der Summer Card, die im Zimmerpreis inkludiert war, zur kostenfreien Nutzung von Bergbahnen und Liften 1 x täglich je Bahn für Berg- und Talfahrt. Alle öffentlichen Busse und Wanderbusse sind kostenlos! The breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and varied, scrambled eggs / fried eggs also freshly prepared daily, homemade jams / jams (highly recommended), the service perfect, everything very clean. The sauna is very modern, easy to use. The location of the inn in the village is very central. The innkeeper is always available and has regional tips ready for every taste. We highly recommend the use of the Summer Card, which was included in the room price, for free use of mountain railways and lifts once a day for each lift for ascent and descent. All public buses and hiking buses are free!

Das Innere ist sehr schön renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Sehr gemütlich, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Chef, Georg, ist ein leidenschaftlicher Gastwirt und war unser direkter Ansprechpartner für alle Belangen, ein super Typ! Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Saunabereich muss extra erwähnt werden, wunderschön, Luxusklasse! Danke, meine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! The inn is a beautiful, very old house, you can literally feel the history. The interior is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, very cozy, clean and well equipped. The boss, Georg, is a passionate innkeeper and was our direct contact for all matters, a great guy! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The sauna area has to be mentioned separately, beautiful, luxury class! Thank you, my unreserved recommendation!

Vor allem der Saunabereich übertrifft alles. Hier kann man nach einem Skitag, Schneeschuhwandertag oder sonstiges Aktivitäten hervorragend entspannen. Quaint hotel which is stylishly furnished. In addition, very nice and helpful operator and friendly staff. Especially the sauna area surpasses everything. Here you can relax after a day of skiing, snowshoeing or other activities.

There was also the possibility to use the wellness wich was very new and clean. Thanks to Corona we reinvented going on a vacation during summer in Europe. Austria is beautiful and not expensive at all.

Drinken available in a fridge. So all you need is there anyway. Friendly on the budget, for us it was just right.
T	Thomas van Bracht on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely Christmas holiday at the Gasthaus zum Stern. George was a superb host, attending to all our needs. We stayed on a half board rate, so it included breakfast and dinner. Both were great, breakfast was good with made to order eggs, cold cuts, bread, fruits and granola. The dinner menu changed every day, and had multiple choices. They served a superb 5 course Christmas dinner. The rooms were absolutely fine, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only point of improvement would be the bathrooms, they were quite small, but very clean. They just opened a sauna/wellness area with two different saunas (bio sauna at 70c and Finnish sauna at 90c) a infrared cabin and relaxation room. It’s a stunning area, well worth a visit. We used this every day of our stay. The Gasthof itself is in a building dating back to 1100 AD. It’s a beautiful old property with lots of charm and Georg has many stories to tell about it, as it has been in their family since the 1700s. We will definitely be back! And can recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the Oetztal area.

From the second we entered, the property owner Georg made us feel extremely welcome and "at home". He was always friendly, asking if he can do anything for us and helping with whatever needs we might have. The breakfast was exquisite and Georg always remembered our egg order, serving us "the usual". The hotel is charming, the rooms are big and clean. There is also a recently built modern sauna complex, which we we used every day after long hikes in the mountains. The location is great, it's really close to restaurants, a supermarket, stores and a short walk to the ski lift. We recommend a room with a balcony to enjoy a beer in the evening with a view of the beautiful mountains. Fantastic stay, we will be recommeding the hotel to all our friends and we will definitely come back in the future! Thank you for having us, Georg!
