★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent little place, definitely worth a visit when you are in Graz. Delicious food in filling quantities, attentive and friendly service and rustic atmosphere. As it's not very big, it's better to reserve a spot (you can do this via their site) so you're not disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gasthaus Staunzerbauer totally exceeded our expectation, and we had a great surprise of how delicious traditional Austrian food can be!!! The restaurant received a lot of food awards, and really lives up to them. We had beef soup, salad, beef liver, assorted venison, creme brulee. Food was sourced locally and prepared with lots of hearts, and the presentation was great too. All the staff were very friendly, and great vibes. We had a very pleasant experience there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and great food! Before going to the restaurant I saw a comment on Google Maps saying that every bite of their food was a new discover. Honestly, I thought it was a bit too much, but when I tasted their food I completely understand what the person means, it is delicious indeed! Every day they offer a typical Austrian plate with reduced price, it is really worth the try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An authentic, warm and friendly restaurant with polite staff and great homemade apple juice. Prices are a bit higher for the food they serve so it might not be too much of a student-traveler type of place to visit. Regardless, you visit it for the overall experience and delicious food, a great combination in the heart of Graz.
