★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely restaurant and guesthouse at the top of the Pfanderdohle mountain in Bregenz. I brought a small group here last week and we enjoyed a light lunch, a few drinks and incredible views of the Alps.
Despite our broken German we were able to order tasty regional specialties like wurst and sauerkraut and Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) with vanilla sauce. I had the chicken salad appetizer and the presentation was very pretty. I was so glad to learn there is another option since the Berghaus was closed for renovation, as this might be my favorite stop at the top because all the hikers gathered here.
