A	Armin Scherz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unglaubliche Aussicht von der Terrasse über das ganze Tal bis hin zum Millstättersee. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preise sind auch in Ordnung, man sollte nur aufpassen zu üblichen Mittags- oder Abendessens-Zeiten dort zu sein, wenn man warm Essen will. Aber auch dann finden sie Wirtsleute Regine Lösung, Speisen schmecken sehr gut. Incredible views from the terrace across the valley to the Millstättersee. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Prices are also ok, you should only be careful to usual lunch or dinner times to be there, if you want to eat hot. But even then they find hosts Regine solution, food tastes very good.

Zimmer zweckmäßig, man will ja nur schlafen, Etagendusche und Toilette sauber. Der Ausblick ins Tal ist genial. The boss is just right, she does a great job, takes care of the guests, the last one in the evening, the first one early. Room functional, you just want to sleep, shared shower and toilet clean. The view of the valley is awesome.

L	Luisa Wiesmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war in dem Hotel “Kolmwirt” während meiner Wander-Tour auf dem Alp- Adria- Trail zu Gast und dieses Hotel ist mir besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben. Es liegt sehr idyllisch auf dem Hühnersberg und bietet eine fantastische Aussicht auf’s Tal. Die Wirtin und die Bedienung haben uns sehr nett empfangen. Außerdem waren die Zimmer sehr gepflegt und hatten alle einen geräumigen Balkon. Das Essen war zwar “einfach”, aber ausgesprochen lecker und die Portionen waren groß. Zum Frühstück bietet das Hotel viel selbst gemachtes und frisches von eigenem Vieh, sowie leckere Brötchen und Aufstrich. Die Duschen liegen gegenüber des Zimmers und sind sehr geräumig. Waschbecken befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, und haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass Hunde dort auch sehr gut aufgenommen werden. Von dort aus hat man gute Wandermöglichkeiten, mit vielen Flüssen und Seen. Ich persönlich kann den Alpe- Adria- Trail und besonders den “Kolmwirt” wärmstens empfehlen. I was a guest in the hotel “Kolmwirt” during my hiking tour on the Alp-Adria-Trail and this hotel is particularly memorable to me. It is very idyllic on the Hühnersberg and offers a fantastic view of the valley. The landlady and the waitress welcomed us very nicely. Also, the rooms were very clean and all had a spacious balcony. The food was "simple", but very tasty and the portions were large. For breakfast, the hotel offers a lot of homemade and fresh cattle, as well as delicious rolls and spreads. The showers are opposite your room and are very spacious. Sink is in the room. We had our dog with us and had the experience that dogs are also very well received there. From there you have good hiking opportunities, with many rivers and lakes. I personally can highly recommend the Alpe-Adria-Trail and especially the “Kolmwirt”.

Man wird hier mit einer natürlichen Freundlichkeit empfangen die man selten findet! Man wird, nach einer kurvigen Bergfahrt, mit einer atemberaubenden Lage und Aussicht belohnt. Die Erfahrung sagt mir auch, dass es hier - über 1000 Meter Seehöhe eine sehr gesunde Luft für Allergiker und Asthmatiker gibt Und wenn Verpflegung und Beherbergung ähnlich wie die Wirtsleute sind, dann scheint der Platz eine gute Wahl zu sein! Große Terrasse mit Panoramablick. Familienbetrieb mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung und ausgezeichneter Küche. Kann ich als Ausflugsziel nur weiter empfehlen!!! Highly recommended !! Culinary panorama inn and great starting point for hikes. 3 separate halls for celebrations or seminars available. Large terrace with panoramic views. Family business with very friendly service and excellent cuisine. I can only recommend it as a destination!
S	Stefan Bacher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es war Etappenziel am Alpe Adria Trail. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Die Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Im Zimmer gibt es ein Waschbecken. Dusche und WC ist am Gang und muss mit anderen Gästen geteilt werden. Nach einem langen Tag zu Fuss aber froh überhaupt duschen zu können ☺️. Das essen war sehr gut wenn auch nicht ganz günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Gasthäusern in der Umgebung. Frühstück ausreichend und für jeden was dabei. Chefin und Personal freundlich. It was the stage destination on the Alpe Adria Trail. The view is fantastic. The rooms are getting old but clean. There is a wash basin in the room. The shower and toilet are in the hallway and must be shared with other guests. After a long day of walking, but glad to be able to take a shower at all ☺️. The food was very good, if not cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. Sufficient breakfast and something for everyone. Boss and staff friendly.

Friendly hosts and delicious Wiener Schnitzel but above all the view from the terrace. I could see the Slovenian border, 10 day walk from here! I was lucky with a room with such a view over the valley.
