Die Portionen waren riesig und es hat so gut geschmeckt. Die Preise sind auch voll okay, ein halber Liter Bier ist günstiger als halber Liter Spezi ? Typical inn style. Cared for from the outside, indoors without ambience but clean. In any case, the food convinced us. The portions were huge and it tasted so good. The prices are also okay, half a liter of beer is cheaper than half liter Spezi ?

Vom spendierten Marillenschnäpsle ganz zu schweigen! Flott und sehr freundlich serviert vom Wirt. Dieses Dorfgasthaus ist seeehr zu empfehlen. When the weather is good, sit under the vine roof, eat a super good schnitzel with excellent fries and a mixed salad, a fine Mohrenbräu beer with it = pure enjoyment. Not to mention the donated apricot schnapps! Brisk and very friendly served by the host. This village inn is highly recommended.

Hans, der Chef, ist ein besonders herzlicher Gastgeber, sowie natürlich auch seine Gattin! The schnitzel in particular is always a poem at Gasthaus Hirschen. Hans, the boss, is a particularly warm host, as is his wife, of course!

Und dazu noch einen entspannten, unaufdringlichen und trotzdem sehr aufmerksamen SERVICE. Ein Dorfgasthaus wie man es nur mehr selten findet! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Nowhere, really nowhere is there such a good schnitzel with potato salad !!! 1A quality !!! And on top of that a relaxed, unobtrusive and nevertheless very attentive SERVICE. A village inn as you rarely find it anymore! Unreservedly recommendable.

Tipp: Man sollte vorher reservieren. I went to the Hirschen inn for dinner with my girlfriend. Good schnitzel at a fair price. Very nice owners and regular guests. Tip: You should reserve in advance.
M	Michael Amann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When a friend told me that this place is serving the best 'Schnitzel' in the area I didn't quite believe him. Now let me tell you: This place is serving the best Schnitzel I have ever tasted in my entire life. It's THAT good and the portions are h-u-g-e. I recommend trying the chili-mustard Schnitzel if you are ready to feel the burn. The Gasthaus is being managed by a couple and they are fantastic. Always up for a chat and always friendly when I was there. They only have very few tables in the Winter so make sure to reserve early. There is only a local audience in this Gasthaus, you will not find many (any?) tourists here. I am also not sure if they even speak english. :) As of today ( 30. 01. 2018 ) you can't find this place on Tripadvisor for example. Some of the less positive stuff: Update 29. 07. 2019: This place is a non-smoking restaurant now so deleting my old information regarding smoking guests in restaurant. There's also a lot of noise in the restaurant in the evening and generelly people coming there seem to enjoy having loud conversation.
