Es gibt die ganze Woche sehr gut zusammengestellte, abwechslungsreiche und preisgünstige Menüs, die uns immer gut schmecken. Und wenn du einmal was anderes willst, kannst du gerne deine Wünsche äußern. Empfehlenswert!!! An excellent place if you are looking for good Viennese cuisine, home cooking or home-made food and need good drinks. There are very well put together, varied and inexpensive menus throughout the week, which we always like. And if you want something else, you are welcome to express your wishes. Recommended !!!

Wir waren hier mehrmals Essen die Portionen waren groß, schön angerichtet und keiner von uns hat gemeckert. Getränkepreise voll in Ordnung, nette Bedienung, bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Föhrenhain ein Fixpunkt, Danke! Gasthaus Föhrenhain is an insider tip for hungry people and lovers of home cooking on a small budget. We have eaten here several times, the portions were large, well presented and none of us complained. Drink prices are okay, nice service, a must for my next visit to Föhrenhain, thank you!

Hier kann man aber sogar auswählen, ob man alternativ nicht einmal das "Schnitzel nach Wiener Art" zur Abwechslung bestellen möchte. Dabei besteht das Fleisch zu 100% vom Schwein von der linken Seite der Hüfte. Wie bekannt, ist nur die linke Seite ganz besonders zart, da immer alle Hausschweine ausnahmslos nur auf der rechten Seite liegen. Daher ist beim Kaufen auch immer die linke Hälfte um 3,- bis 4,- Euro teurer, wie die Rechte Hälfte der Zuchtsau. Super restaurant with really great kitchen.
