Landed here by chance and loved it. Located on the World Heritage Trail and away from the mainstream with delicious cuisine, also for vegetarians.
G	Gabriele Kain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heute sind wir ganz zufällig in dieses bezaubernde Gasthaus gekommen. Wir waren sofort begeistert über das Flair und die Herzlichkeit! Selten, dass man sich gleich so wohl fühlt! Die kleine, feine Karte lässt gleich vermuten, dass die Speisen frisch sind und allesamt hausgemacht ohne die sonst üblichen convenience Produkte. Wir haben uns vorweg für die Frittaten Suppe entschieden! Mmmmhhh wunderbar. Das war schön der Moment, wo wir wussten: wir hatten die richtige Location gewählt. Dann wählten wir den Edelwels mit RoteRüben Soße und Bärlauchgnocci. Alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend! Zum Abschluss gab es einen wirklich ausgezeichneten Melange (was heutzutage leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist) und dazu eine Cremeschnitte, bei der ich einfach nur noch seufzen konnte! So fluffig und geschmacklich nicht zu übertreffen! Ich küre diese zu der Besten, die ich je gegessen habe! Alles in allem haben wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Aber wir kommen wieder!!!!! Today we came by chance to this charming inn. We were immediately impressed by the atmosphere and the warmth! Rarely that you feel so comfortable right now! The small, fine menu suggests that the food is fresh and all homemade without the usual convenience products. We anticipate opted for the pancake soup! Mmmmhhh wonderful. That was nice the moment we knew we had chosen the right location. Then we chose the Edelwels with beetroot sauce and wild garlic gnocci. Everything fresh and excellent in taste! At the end, there was a really excellent melange (which is unfortunately no longer a given nowadays) and a cream cake, where I could just sigh! So fluffy and taste can not be beat! I confess this to the best I have ever eaten! All in all, we felt really comfortable and did not want to leave. But we'll be back !!!!!

Auch Vorsuppe und Hauptspeise wohlschmeckend. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder hier her. Very nice ambience in a pleasant rustic atmosphere. Wonderful tasting Sachertorte and other sweet treats are highly recommended. The soup and main course are also tasty. We always like to come back here.

Wir waren zu den Fischtagen dort - schon von der Vorspeise Matjesteller hätte ich am liebsten noch 2 gegessen - und die Hauptspeise Waller im Speckmantel war sensationell! Nurmehr von der Nachspeise Cremeschnitte mit Wachauermarllen sauce übertroffen. Dazu die freundliche Gastlichkeit der Familie Busch und das Ambiente im schönen, liebevoll dekorierten Hof - ein Highlight sondergleichen ! Wir kommen garantiert wieder!! insider tip! We were there for the fish days - I would have liked to have eaten 2 more of the starter herring - and the main course catfish in bacon was sensational! Only surpassed by the dessert cream slices with Wachauermarllen sauce. In addition, the friendly hospitality of the Busch family and the ambience in the beautiful, lovingly decorated courtyard - an unparalleled highlight! We'll definitely be back!!
