Geburtstags- und Weihnachtsessen im Familienkreis, immer tolles Essen, freundliches und nettes Team, noch nie Grund zur Beanstandung gehabt ? Was gesagt werden muss: es dauert etwas länger, da alles frisch gekocht wird. Wer also wenig Zeit mitbringt, wird nervös auf die Uhr schauen. Und es ist auch die (kontaktlose) Kartenzahlung möglich. ? Originale Rezension: Wir haben die Info erhalten, dass die Bärenfalle einen neuen Pächter hat - also schnell ausprobieren ;-) Der neue Pächter ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Corona-Bestimmungen werden ernst genommen, so ist genügend Platz im Außenbereich zwischen den Tischen und wir wurden nach den berühmten drei Gs gefragt. Kritik auf hohem Level: die Besteckbecher sind (nicht nur) in Corona-Zeiten suboptimal, weil man ja nie weiß, wer vorher reingegriffen und somit das Besteck angetatscht hat. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und es ist für jeden Gusto was dabei - von Suppe über Salate und Burger bis hin zu Spareribs und Gulasch. Alles eher auf der herzhaften und rustikaleren Seite. Wir hatten Speck- und Leberknödelsuppe - 1A, superlecker. Dann die Hüttenmakkaroni und das Rindsgulasch - war beides vom Feinsten. Super gekocht, war alles frisch und sehr "gschmackig". Die Portionen waren angenehm groß - nicht zu groß und preislich angemessen. Dann gab's noch einen Kaffee (Kuchen gibt's in der Bärenfalle auch, aber da hatten wir noch daheim was ;) ) auch gut. Noch ein Highlight: Bier gibt es von der Brauerei in Vils, also eindeutig regional. Geöffnet jetzt von 11:30-21:00 und durchgehend warme Küche, mit dem Auto (gibt auch genügend Parkplätze), mit dem Fahrrad und zu Fuß super erreichbar. Und wenn man draußen sitzt mit Blick auf den Säuling oder rüber zur Achsel. Gutes Essen mit schöner Aussicht :-) Der langen Rezension kurzer Sinn: auf jeden Fall wieder und absolut empfehlenswert. Freundliche Bedienung, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super. Update 02/13/2022: We are now regular guests at the Bärenfalle and it's just great ? Birthday and Christmas dinners with the family, always great food, friendly and nice team, never had any reason to complain ? What has to be said: it takes a little longer as everything is freshly cooked. So if you don't have much time, you'll look at the clock nervously. And (contactless) card payment is also possible. ? Original review: We have received the information that the Bärenfalle has a new tenant - so try it out quickly ;-) The new tenant is very friendly and attentive. The Corona regulations are taken seriously, so there is enough space outside between the tables and we were asked for the famous three Gs. Criticism at a high level: the cutlery cups are (not only) suboptimal in Corona times, because you never know who reached in beforehand and thus touched the cutlery. The menu is extensive and there is something for every taste - from soup to salads and burgers to spare ribs and goulash. Everything rather on the hearty and rustic side. We had bacon and liver dumpling soup - 1A, super delicious. Then the cottage macaroni and the beef goulash - both were the finest. Super cooked, everything was fresh and very "tasty". The portions were a good size - not too big and reasonably priced. Then there was coffee (there's cake in the Bärenfalle too, but we still had something at home ;) ) also good. Another highlight: beer is available from the brewery in Vils, so it's definitely regional. Open now from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and hot food served all day, easily accessible by car (there are also plenty of parking spaces), by bike and on foot. And if you sit outside with a view of the pillar or over to the armpit. Good food with a nice view :-) The long review in a nutshell: definitely again and absolutely recommendable. Friendly service, great value for money.

Tolles Gulasch, leckere Salate vegane und vegetarische Gerichte und zufriedene Gäste an unserem und den Nachbartischen, weisen auf ein sehr gutes Konzept hin.Ich gäbe gerne 10 Sterne!!! Coincidentally, while looking for an open guest house, out of season, we became aware of this excellent new opening. Great goulash, delicious salads, vegan and vegetarian dishes and satisfied guests at our and the neighboring tables, point to a very good concept. I would like to give 10 stars!
N	Nadine Roethling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update 22.03.2022: Seit Monaten sind wir regelmäßig Gast in der Bärenfalle und es schmeckt jedes Mal toll. Da alles frisch zubereitet wird, heißt es etwas Zeit mitbringen, aber es lohnt sich und man hat Zeit eine kleine Auszeit zu genießen. Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal hier essen, nach dem neue Wirtsleute die Bärenfalle übernommen haben. Sehr leckeres Essen, sowohl die Suppen als auch die Hauptspeisen (Schweinefilet mit sehr leckerer Champignonsauce). Auch der Cappuccino ist sehr lecker. Besonderes plus: hier wird auf den Einsatz von regionalen Produkten geachtet (während wir da waren wurde gerade frisches Fleisch geliefert) und z.B. ist die Suppe selbstgekocht und keine Tütensuppe oder auch selbstgemachte Spätzle. Netter, sehr freundlicher Service und der Blick auf den Säuling runden das Bild ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder und probieren uns weiter durch die Speisekarte ? Update 03/22/2022: We have been regular guests at Bärenfalle for months and it tastes great every time. Since everything is freshly prepared, you have to bring some time with you, but it's worth it and you have time to enjoy a little break. This is the second time we've eaten here since new landlords have taken over the bear trap. Very tasty food, both the soups and the main courses (pork fillet with very tasty mushroom sauce). The cappuccino is also delicious. A special plus: attention is paid to the use of regional products (fresh meat was being delivered while we were there) and e.g. the soup is homemade and not packet soup or homemade spaetzle. Nice, very friendly service and the view of the Säuling complete the picture. We'd love to come back and try our way through the menu ?

The limited menu looked a bit pricey but we expected the quantities would make up for that. Unfortunately this was not the case. Moreover it came as a surprise that payment could only be done in cash. A direct money transfer to a bank account could be arranged but it would be best when visitors were warned in advance.
