★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waren hier zum Essen und haben leider keine schöne Erfahrung gemacht. Das Essen war grundsätzlich ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Hauptspeise wurde serviert, da waren wir noch mit der Vorspeise beschäftigt. Gleiches Spiel bei der Nachspeise. Unmöglich. Wir hatten das Gefühl hier unheimlich gehetzt zu werden. Der rote Faden zog sich auch dahingehend weiter durch, dass Teller bereits abgeräumt wurden obwohl am Tisch noch einige am essen waren. Wir können das Gasthaus Au definitiv nur bedingt empfehlen und werden selber nicht wieder kommen. Es gibt in Ellmau und Umgebung diverse, deutlich bessere Restaurants. Geht lieber dort hin...
 Went here for dinner and unfortunately didn't have a good experience. The food was basically ok, but nothing more. The main course was served while we were still busy with the starter. Same game with the dessert. Not possible. We felt like we were being rushed here. The common thread was that plates were already cleared away although there were still a few people eating at the table. We can definitely only recommend the Gasthaus Au to a limited extent and will not come back ourselves. There are various, much better restaurants in Ellmau and the surrounding area. better go there...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly we weren't able to enjoy our drinks because of the wasps (a lot). We already changed were we were sitting, because of the insects but the staff did not help us at all. After ten minutes (tops) we left, we had to pay the full bill for spending time avoiding wasps. The staff did not do anything for the inconvenience.
