Super stay, excellent breakfast and Mega service!

Positive: Nice breakfast, beautiful views and spacious common spaces.. Negative: Small (short) bed with high wooden ending..

Nice location and home owner, we could park our bike in the covered garage. Cold drinks in the fridge from which you can buy for reasonable price. The room and bathroom are a little bit old fashioned, but the view from the balcony is nice. Good breakfast, you can also ask for egg. Overall nice stay for 1 night.

Positive: Great view from the bedroom! That is the best part. The breakfast was handy as we went skiing and do not want to spend time worrying for it. Location is 20 minutes far from Kreischberg by car.. Negative: Nothing. Only that you need to book quite in advance for high season months (January, February and March)..

Excellent host, clean place with all essentials. We booked the place via booking.com and asked up front if our dog can stay in the room. Response was yes. We arrived at the place, which is just off the road 96 at Ranten. 5 minute drive into village and guest house was easy to find (via google maps). Parking available at the front of the house for at least 3 cars. Although I saw the owners cars which might need reversing - so should ask the owners. Host welcomed us and she spoke good English and of course German. We stayed in a large bed room with ensuite. Although the bathrooms were located outside the room. Rooms, bathroom and toilets were very clean and tidy. Access to balcony available to watch the sunrise/sunset. Dining area with television/fridge and a large table available to chill. Hot water in the bathroom took a while to arrive but it was not a big issue. Clean towels were provided. No soap/shower gel/shampoo was available. This would have been nice. Balcony is good but some floor boards are quite loose. Owner should consider checking these to avoid safety hazards. Host provided us a lovely breakfast with fresh bread. She took extra effort to make everything ready just in time as we requested breakfast to be prepared 15 minutes earlier to the normal breakfast time (which is 7am). Sleeping was ok. But please ensure not to leave doors and windows open as few mosquitoes invited them selves in during our stat. This disrupted our sleep big time! Overall very nice experience and would recommand this guest house.

Positive: Friendly place with a nice view and friendly host. Quiet room, comfy bed. Perfect for 1 or 2 night stay. Well located to reach lots of attractions nearby, hiking places, waterfalls. 10-15 mins driving away from a town with shopping facilities and petrol station.. Negative: No hairdrier in the room/bathroom. Wifi didn't work. Was a bit hard to find, could put signs on the main road where to turn and also as there are narrow roads, could put more signs showing to the right direction. Could be a bit cheaper..

The hostess was very kind and flexible. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, the window view was wonderful! In only a 15 min drive we were right at the foot of the ski slopes. There is a great restaurant only 3min by car/10min by foot. I would definitely recommend this Gasthaus!
