 Friendly and down-to-earth inn with good cuisine. Locals also come and go there. Room functional and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schönes Gasthaus, dass sich durch sein gemütliches und freundlich gestaltetes Ambiente, den exzellenten Service und die SEHR GUTE Küche auszeichnet. Die Speisekarte hat wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten und wartet mit typisch österreichischer Hausmannskost, die sich ganz und gar den Spezialitäten der Region, etwa dem Waldviertler Graumohn oder dem Feta aus der angrenzenden Käserei verschrieben hat, auf. Neben der hohen Qualität der Speisen und dem tollen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, ist es aber vor allem das engagierte, unglaublich flotte und ausgesprochen sympathische Serviceteam, das hier dem Gast das Gefühl gibt, wirklich gut aufgehoben zu sein. Ich kann damit wirklich nur jedem/ jeder empfehlen selbst nach Pöggstall zu kommen, um diesen Hochgenuss selbst zu erleben!!!
Very nice guest house, characterized by its cozy and friendly atmosphere, the excellent service and the VERY GOOD kitchen. The menu really has something to offer for every taste and offers typical Austrian home-style cooking, which is completely dedicated to the specialties of the region, such as the Waldviertler Graumohn or the feta from the adjacent cheese dairy. In addition to the high quality of the food and the great value for money, but it is above all the dedicated, incredibly brisk and extremely sympathetic service team, the here the guest the feeling, to be in good hands. I can really only recommend to everyone to come to Pöggstall to experience this delicacy!
