★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bei traumhaften Herbstwetter haben wir eine Führung mit der Hausherrin und anschließender Verkostung genossen. Interessant, ausführlich und launig hat sie über die Herstellung, Veredelung und Reifung der unterschiedlichen Käse erzählt. Jeder einzelne schmeckt fantastisch, und die Weinempfehlungen runden das Angebot ab. Leider fehlt Personal, sodass die Tische nicht zeitnah abgeräumt wurden. Auch die Preise sind ziemlich exklusiv....deshalb nur vier Punkte.
 In wonderful autumn weather, we enjoyed a tour with the landlady and subsequent tasting. She gave interesting, detailed and witty talk about the production, refinement and maturation of the different cheeses. Each one tastes fantastic, and the wine recommendations complete the offer. Unfortunately there is a lack of staff, so that the tables were not cleared in a timely manner. The prices are also pretty exclusive ... that's why only four points.

But! I really didn’t understand the service.
Guys, with a such an ugly service model you are loosing your potential customers.
Guided tours - completely mess and it doesn’t match the site description and is overpriced.
Stuff must be patient, screaming at the customers is prohibited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located close to the gorgeous Riegersburg castle, this hidden gem is a place nobody should pass by without a visit. In an area known for culinary delights, it stands out. The only problem is that you will spend a hefty portion of your holiday budget, because you'll want to try everything. The cheeses are fantastic, and the service is friendly and helpful. They also stock a nice selection of local wines. We will definetly be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ artisanal fine cheese manufacturer. Nice view of riegersburg Castle. take the tour and go for the käseverkostung. very friendly staff and super-knowledgeable owner who lived and worked in Switzerland for a while. a few of the cheeses are definitely inspired by the glarus stay.
