★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Feuerwehr, dein Freund und Helfer! Stets zur Stelle wenn man sie braucht, kompetente Leute, was will man mehr. Und den jährlichen Feuerwehrheurigen zu besuchen ist sowieso für jeden Gaweinstaler in Muss.
 The fire department, your friend and helper! Always there when you need them, competent people, what more could you ask for. And to visit the annual Feuerheheurigen is anyway for every Gaweinstaler in must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gaweinstal braucht eine Feuerwehr - keine Frage! Der Ort brannte in seiner Geschichte dreimal fast komplett ab. :-)
1822 weil eine Schwester ihren Bruder in den April geschickt hatte! Dem elfjährigen Brandstifter wurde 1829 der Prozess gemacht und er wurde zu 5 Jahren schwerer Kerkerhaft Verurteilt die er nicht überlebte. 1830 starb er in der Haft an Typhus.
Da kann man nur sagen: Zum Glück haben sich die Zeiten geändert!
Gaweinstal needs a fire brigade - no question about it! The place burned down almost completely three times in its history. :-)
1822 because a sister had sent her brother to April! The eleven-year-old arsonist was tried in 1829 and sentenced to 5 years of severe imprisonment, which he did not survive. In 1830 he died of typhus in prison.
One can only say: Fortunately times have changed!
